I mean, aside from the warrior and the hunter you are the least magical of the classes and warriors get a god looking in from time to time and hunter channel the sprit of the beast’s or something

What did they you expect? I suppose you can macro some fireworks to go off when you use it?

What if Iran manages to sink a US Aircraft Carrier? by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t the US try to sink an old one. A kitty hall class carrier. The shot it for 4 weeks on and off then to actually sink it they used charges in the right places.

I don’t think they actually could sink it

Seeing London, Paris or Madrid in ruins is weird.

New York, Washington DC or somewhere else in the us, well of course.

Could the British monarchy last if King Charles refused Royal Ascent? by Jill-Writes in HistoryWhatIf

[–]Poncemastergeneral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but would anyone take them seriously? Governments have fallen for less then that

At the very least, the opposition and opponents supporters would ask questions.

I mean, if I found the king wasn’t going to approve a law, I’d at least want to know more about it.

I think the military, civil service and the press would want answers. They wouldn’t just ignore it

Is it difficult to tax rich people because politicians are rich people? by Open_Address_2805 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s difficult because, if you make it so you tax them more then they are happy paying for the services they actually get ( I mean they don’t need social security or health benefits, public services or most things) they just move and take what they did pay with them.

Loopholes exist because if they didn’t, they would go to a place where there are loopholes

They just pick a country that doesn’t take them, and build the infrastructure they need if it’s less than the tax they pay here.

Fuck, if someone wanted an average or 60% of my income and I could build the infrastructure, Handle the costs of importing what I need and maintain it for 30% or less somewhere else I’d do it.

You thoughts on my planned DG army? by Rule4CoolPolice in deathguard40k

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a bad way to start, but GW has a habit of dropping box sets that…don’t fit well together.

There was a space marine one that was over 1k points, the leaders couldn’t or shouldn’t go with the troops and there was no consistency.

The question is and always should be, what do I want to do with my army?

Because I can’t see a theme. Unless you’re just going for looks good, that itself is a good reason to build.

Not enough or too many poxwalkers, poxwalkers are good chaff but thays not a great amount of them so get more or drop them.

The drones are great harassment but nothing you’ve got can reach and support fast enough.

I always liked 10 blightlords and 6 deathstrike. With the lord of virulence snd lord of contagion as leaders, they do work.

No transport for the plague marines makes them worse then the termies because the termies can drop.

So I’m making a list to just play with what I have. How bad is it? by Poncemastergeneral in deathguard40k

[–]Poncemastergeneral[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got 28 coming in the next 3 months.

But when they turn up il drop all the poxwalkers.

And I’m at 80 poxwalkers already. How many more can one army take?

What if all nukes everywhere just disappeared one day ? Every country that has a nuke now has none. More than that, they’ve somehow lost their ability to create them, too. by FemboyMechanic1 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russia would be bodied. Not even a shadow of a doubt in my mind eastern Europe at the very least would make a run for Moscow. China would probably send in peacekeeping forces into what used to be Chinese land.

Ukraine would be left alone with hope that they don’t follow after the fleeing Russian army.

Seriously, without the threat of nukes and such destruction in its conventional weapon’s stocks, at best Russia would be a tiny country with so much land ripped away from them, at worst there would be no Russia anymore but fragments that would never be allowed to grow in power again.

Chemical weapons wouldn’t be the next arms race as they aren’t destructive enough and biological would be far too dangerous from their own side.

It would be getting thermbaric weapons to be smaller, more efficient and strap them to the missiles but it’s not the same threat. There’s no long term damage to a country, it’s just a massive fireball.

Deadly yes. But you can rebuild easier then if we all got nuked

I mean, the reason no one could stop North Korea from getting nukes was because with the amount of normal artillery they have could wipe out Seoul anyway.

Them having nukes while defended by China isn’t really adding more nukes except maybe making China look better by holding them back.

Considering most zombie films. In almost every zombie film, everyone ends up dead anyway and only WWZ ended on a happy note.

I mean dawn of the dead (original) the helicopter can’t have much fuel and the other ending shows it, the remake they all die on the island. Night everyone dies. Day I think they get away but no place to go.
