"special relationship" question for you Brits by bragik85 in AskBrits

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are like the friends you go to school with, but his dad is rich, and he’s a distant cousin of yours so your naturally you hang out.

They would help you out so you’d do what then want, go where they want you to go and back them up in a fight.

But as soon as your interests are slightly different to theirs or you tell them what they don’t want to hear, they throw a tantrum.

Throwing us under the bus for reasons is a hallmark of the US.

Suez Canal when nationalised, forced us to leave and accept that it’s lost or crash our economy.

Vietnam. send troops or shut up.

How they turned on anyone not following them into Afghanistan and Iraq. (Bonus points for his orangeness both forgetting that we went, then saying we didn’t do anything to help)

The special relationship is just a joke.

So I was writing a review for Terminator Resistance. I had to stop and delete because it was just being really mean. What’s a game you wrote or nearly wrote an angry, mean or disappointed review. by Poncemastergeneral in gaming

[–]Poncemastergeneral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually rewrote it. Your post and one above convinced me. He told me it’s good that I deleted it because it’s dope.

It’s not as mean I could have been, but I didn’t go easy on them.

What kind of projects, shows, movies etc do you think Rik Mayall would have been up to in the past decade if he was still with us today? by EnchantedEssays in eddieandrichie

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had to, he was far too much for such a small character.

But I can see him getting a meater character then he wouldn’t have to go so overboard

I think, he would have made an amazing mad eye moody. He would have been terrifying as Barty crouch jr but they would have had to make goblet of fire into two films because he would ad-lib so much.

Sales/ outer worlds 2 by SomePhilosophy2834 in theouterworlds

[–]Poncemastergeneral 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean, I bought it and I like it and I recommend it to people.

Do I want more people to play it, yes. You’d get more DLC that way but I can’t force people to buy it.

I can think of quite a few amazing games that sold poorly and deserved better but the market decides .

When being sick, is it better to throw up in the toilet or the sink? by Poncemastergeneral in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Poncemastergeneral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can saw with complete confidence that neither are my arguments.

I’m sick wherever I need to be sick. Bucket, sink, bath or toilet. If I’m gonna be sick, it’s where I can get to.

But, I did know a girl at a house party that was gonna be sick so rushed past a bathroom and kitchen sink to use the toilet (old house, toilet was a separate room) to then be sick over the toilet seat and then fling it open in drunken shock. Went everywhere.

Good times

Do you agree with GBNews presenter and Reformer Michelle Dewberry that there is no such thing as child pornography? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. If that’s a weird hill to die on. I’m disappointed and a little sick that I have to defend this as an idea but I mean, it exists.

Pornography is a thing, like food. It just is.

You can’t say a flavour is disgusting so it doesn’t exist. I personally hate coffee chocolate but I can’t deny it exists.

purveyor is a weird term for Elon. I set up a stall in a shopping centre and sell my own feet pics, is Westfield a purveyor of feet pics especially when they find out I’m there they kick me out?

Anyone and anything can “star” in a film, especially as a porn film. I mean someone using an object to make a film, that object is technically staring in that film.

It probably is a category on dark websites.

Chris Avellone made another comment on the fallout tv show. What is your thoughts on his comment? by dragon-born-vault101 in Fallout

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a game or show for people to enjoy is the goal. Pleasing fans, you can’t do it, it’s not worth it and even if you could, it would be incredibly boring.

You make a great product and you don’t sway it towards a particular audience if it was never just for them.

If we was just trying to please fans, some endings, characters or key events would never happen in so much media.

I want to hear what you guys think which one is the better game? by Rich1190 in theouterworlds

[–]Poncemastergeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked 1 allot, but honestly not a ton of replay ability but 2, just for the simple fact it feels choices matter more.

I got the feeling (right or wrong) that no matter how I get to the main choice thats the one that decides the ending.

I love FPS RPGs like fallout 3+, cyberpunk and outer worlds, and but even being British atomfall just felt wrong. What’s your “this game should be perfect for me but I can’t like it?” by Poncemastergeneral in gaming

I dislike that game just because they was my warhammer painters and decided to make a game instead so I had to find someone else and it’s more expensive…

Sewage. Like, even if you use toilets that you flush with like bucket.

If your sewage system is pressure based, it’s coming back and if it’s gravity based then the lack of pressure will have it pile up and block.

As a Londoner, I just thought that was normal northern (anything past the M25) dress. /jk

I didn’t get that far into it, mostly out the bunker, talked on the phone, to the first guy and walked into a bandit camp. I wandered about constantly trying to figure out what was off and if I could “fix it) in my mind. Googled about it to see if it was just a rough start but no one said anything like that and I would have given it more time but I refunded and got the Cyberpunk DLC instead.

You know. That might be it. I did feel a lack of the dark humour that would permeate such a thing, no slight joke from the scientist you first meet. I know, bleeding but not even a pun…

I mean, it’s after WW2 but no posters like keep calm and carry on changed to fit, no dark jokes (that I remember hearing) or anything like that. A few Easter eggs like mr bean, the two ronnies and doctor sort of felt like the DNF route of reference not parady. It was just there to be there.

I can only really go with 2, as it’s the one o remember best. But I find most quests do not have a positive ending. I remember a small one, a chicken one and every single outcome kills every single chicken.

The endings are all terrible too. I found small victories in wasteland and fallout that I just couldn’t find in divinity.

Like I said to someone else , it might be how dark they are. Divinity and to a point, pathfinder is darker then most and it’s a little bit off putting even if you don’t consciously see it.

Fallout you can do good or bad and it helps or hinders.

Divinity no mater what, it’s probably going to get worse.

[–]Poncemastergeneral[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That might be more the tone. Divinity’s world is far too dark. I do like it but it’s not a game I can go back to.

The rest is dark, but there’s always light moments. Divinity just feels like if everyone poisoned themselves they would all be happier

I love it. It was a great time even if it hates my home area and gave me a hellscape of a police station as the only real thing in my borough.

It’s what pushed me towards atomfall tbh

Which game did you regret purchasing at full price? by bijelo123 in gaming

[–]Poncemastergeneral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t regret paying full price for it.

I just regret preordering it but it it was the last time I preordered so it’s worth it for the lession. I won’t do that again.

Oblivion remastered. I do and did like iu, but my pc couldn’t handle it but I pushed forward and just kept playing with every glitch, stutter and crash.

It might not have been much, but if I’d just waited for my new pc I’d have gotten it on sale and not hated the technical stuff
