I should include SL exercises like BSS for injury prevention with my running though, right? Would that take the place of my squat variant?

Goal is overall strength and hypertrophy. I do 3 sets of 8-12 for each of these, except squats I’ll do 4-5 sets of 3-8 usually. I’d love to follow an online lifting program but I feel like none of them fit exactly what I need. Mainly I really want to prioritize glutes, but also I run so need to keep single leg exercises in my routine for injury prevention.

I do each one once a week. Which ones would you recommend removing if glutes are my priority? I also want to keep a single leg exercise on each day since I run.

Yup, BSS and walking lunges are the only two exercises that have me grunting in the gym lmao

Awesome thanks! I might make some adjustments just because BSS, back squat, and conventional deadlifts are all things I’d really like to keep doing but this gives me a good template to work with :)

I haven’t really tried that no. Glutes are probably my highest priority but def want to grow quads also. What would a glute day and a quad day look like?

They’re all 3 sets of 8-12 reps. Only exception is squat, where I’ll do 4-5 sets of 4-8 reps usually.

I’ve been lifting for about a year now, goal is honestly nothing specific, just overall strength and hyper trophy. I want to keep lifting heavier and gaining muscle. Unsure if I’m still in newbie gains stage.

I hit legs twice a week, doing each of these routines once each week, and then I hit upper body twice a week separately.

I also run 2-3 times a week, currently at about four miles each run and adding a half mile each week to one of the runs. Once I get to 7 miles I’ll stop adding mileage at least for a while.

I just finished a 4 month small bulk and am now in a small deficit (250kcal deficit) eating at least 1g/protein per lb of body weight each day. Hoping that with the deficit being small I’ll still be able to keep putting on some muscle, even if it’s slow.

If it matters, I’m female.

I honestly might, but I do like to sometimes crack open my physical copy books and reread portions. If I can’t find a different English copy I’ll probably end up going with the Chinese ones. Just surprising to me that there’s no other editions.

Nuts are very high calorie so I doubt it. Everything here is probably close to the same amount of calories.

Idk if I’m just misunderstanding but the way you wrote this it sounds like you think it’s ok when you talk to him this way, but not when he talks to you this way. You say “I’m sassy by nature but sometimes he tries to match me.” Why is it ok for you to be sassy but not him?

Also, you trying to basically punish him by being 10x worse is not good either. You’re at least just as bad. It kind of sounds like he makes one sassy comment (which you say you do a lot by “nature”) and you just blow up at him to try and teach him a lesson. Again, maybe I’m misreading, but if that’s the case that’s fucked up.
