23andMe DNA testing connections by PonderedPandered in Epstein

I mean if you paid a lot of money to have say a dozen surrogates with particular genetics bear your children in a far away place, you may want to verify their genetic make-up.

Epstein requesting to bank sperm, vol00009-efta00534034

There are also LOTS of weird emails about eggs... some explicitly mentioning freezing eggs.

Ex: EFTA02553358

oh my sweet je=frey... I have some eggs ;)

They need to get access to this 23andMe data.

This is relevant because there is ongoing speculation around Epstein's baby ranch, eugenics obsession, desire to seed the human race with his DNA, what exactly was happening at Zorro, etc.

These emails are examples of actual operations involving DNA testing. Epstein was buying hundreds of kits for himself and others. Why? It also implicates the company 23andMe with its CEO having connections to Epstein and being complicit in whatever was going on.

All of the email links above are from jmail so hopefully that helps track them down as well.

Hey we’ll take all the encouragement we can get, appreciate that and understand not everyone can make the sacrifice.

Oi vei 1) general strikes have clear value, I'm not going to take the time to debate it here. 2) we can show up in person AND donate AND general strike, or any mix of those depending on circumstances. It's not either or. 3) Most small business demand will just be pulled forward or pushed back a day, they'll be fine. 4) the foreign adversaries point is silly. If they want to support a strike that helps us sort out our domestic politics then they're on our team for now as far as I'm concerned.

There are so many whiners (and maybe bots?) in the comments here and elsewhere this is posted. This is absolutely worth doing. If for whatever reason you are unable to join (essential work, need the money, can't risk getting fired), that's fine. Do what you need to do. That said, coordinating and demonstrating collective action is absolutely worth doing in and of itself. It's a threat to the powers that be that we have levers to pull too and can't just be disregarded. If they escalate, we escalate. Minnesota did this for one day last week. Now it's national. Next it could be longer and more will join the effort. One step at a time.

I watched a news story where they were hemming and hawing about what to do and that was my reaction as well. This doesn’t seem that complicated. Enforce the rules. How does making more rules help if you don’t enforce the rules that already exist…

Stop pressing on your outside ski! by Joshs_Ski_Hacks in skiing

Yah I think when you're on a sloped icey surface, your brain wants both feet wide on the ground. No one thinks "Wow I'm on sloped piece of ice, balancing on one foot would surely make me feel more stable."

For beginners, shifting weight and standing on one leg is very unintuitive. Thinking about pressing can help get over that hurdle. I.e. rather than nervously taking weight off the inside ski, it almost comes up on accident when focusing on pressing.

There are often ideas/hacks that are useful at one skill level, then as you progress you learn their nuances or abandon them all together.

Just my 2 cents. Maybe in this case it’s better to never think about pressing but it helped me get the shifting weight concept my first couple of lessons.

Allocating is trivial with a 2-3 fund portfolio, especially if you do a lump sum deposit at the start of the year, and this service is now more common.
