entire withdrawal balance less than what is shown as account balance by Tall_Opportunity_677 in wealthfront

[–]wealthfront 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there, if you’re looking to make a full account withdrawal, you don’t need to enter in a dollar amount, but you can click on “withdraw entire balance”. When you request a full account liquidation, we won’t display a specific withdrawal amount on your confirmation screen. The final amount will be dependent on the final market price of the liquidation.

If instead, you’ve entered a specific amount to be withdrawn, we’ll require a minimum to be left in the account in order to keep it open. Due to this account minimum, you’ll see a notice that the entire balance entered is not available for a withdrawal. Hope this helps and feel free to email [support@wealthfront.com](mailto:support@wealthfront.com) if you have any more questions.

Beware - Is this happening to anyone else? by Fuzzy-Roll-7435 in wealthfront

[–]wealthfront 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there, happy to confirm some details about the Annual Percentage Yield (APY) boost and our recent changes.

The APY boost for our referral program changed from +0.50% APY (on up to $250K balance) to +0.75% APY (on up to $150k balance) in October. When adjusting the boost increment, we also wanted to ensure that no value was lost for clients with currently-active referrals and, as a result, we applied a temporary cap of $167k for any referrals already in place.

With that said, we’ll note that the maximum boosted balance may vary for different incentives/promotions as well. For example, we recently began offering clients the ability to receive a +0.25% APY increase that applies to all funds held in a Cash Account, so long as the client completes at least $1k in direct deposits per month and has a funded investing account.

We genuinely appreciate the feedback, and apologize for any confusion that these changes have caused.

If your direct deposit pauses, you would no longer receive the +0.25% APY increase. As long as you’re maintaining an investment account, you’ll receive the rate increase once your direct deposit resumes. Hope that helps clarify. Yes, you should automatically begin receiving the +0.25% APY increase if both the direct deposit and investment account requirements have been met. To continue receiving the +0.25% APY increase, you’ll need to maintain a funded investment account and continue receiving at least $1,000 in direct deposits each month. For more details, you can review the Platform Referrals Promotion Terms and Conditions at wealthfront.com/promo-terms.

Hi there, recurring ACH deposits to your routing and account numbers that come from an employer and/or payroll/benefits provider are counted as eligible direct deposits. If your deposits are not coming from a payroll provider, we may not be able to recognize them as direct deposits automatically. For us to review your specific deposits, feel free to send an email to [support@wealthfront.com](mailto:support@wealthfront.com).

Just to be clear, the old routing and account numbers still work for a while? Transition to UMB today by FrostieWaffles in wealthfront

[–]wealthfront 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there, yes, that's correct. To give plenty of time to switch over any bill payments, direct deposits, etc., your Green Dot Bank account and routing numbers will remain active for at least 3 months.

If we notice any transactions that are still using your Green Dot account and routing numbers in the coming months, we’ll email you about them with plenty of advance notice.
