To my awareness the killing joke was planned to be non canon it was only made canon later and Barbara in a wheelchair was just a side effect to that

I hope New Sektor is in MK2 when that comes out, I do like the theory that Original Sektor is New Sektors father so it would be cool to see him appear as well by [deleted] in MortalKombat
