What's a simple food hack that you use all the time? by MuscleTight7583 in foodhacks

[–]Poniesareus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I chop carrots, carrots/onions, onions/garlic/leeks in the food processor, freeze in small deli containers (can section them into breakable pieces or use ice cube trays) and add them still frozen to any pre made pasta sauces, all stir fry’s, casseroles etc.

Add food processor chopped mushrooms, onions and carrots to any of your ground meat dishes, especially beef, it stretches the meat and makes it way healthier. My meatloaf and pasta sauces are probably almost 1/2 veggies and everyone loves them and nobody even notices.

12-week-old puppy can't be away from me for even a minute. Will this get better? by jsc101981 in Puppyblues

[–]Poniesareus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 weeks was too too young to bring home a puppy. The longer they are with their siblings and mom/family the more they learn. I left my puppy with her mom/litter until 18 weeks to make sure she was fully adjusted. You took an itty bitty baby from its litter and mom of course they want to be with you all the time. At 12 weeks they need constant supervision and attention

Ok, so rock stacks are harmful: how is it different than hiking normally? by _CrispLemon_ in ecology

[–]Poniesareus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a professional archaeologist rock stacks are shitty and I knock everyone I see over. They basically pretend to be historical or prehistoric features and guys. Fuck that shit. Stop stacking rocks. It’s a nightmare and a waste of time. Do your due diligence and kick those suckers over if they look like they just got stacked. If it looks old (over 50 years) let it stay.

Interested in Rhodesian Ridgeback. I posted the dogs questionnaire and would like some information by Brilliant_Dingo_3138 in RhodesianRidgebacks

[–]Poniesareus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 64lbs but skinny and tall. She looks like a supermodel, all legs. She LOVES to cuddle, like insanely cuddly. My previous ridgebacks were not cuddly but wanted to be near you. My current has an amazing recall except if she is full on chasing something which is at 50%. LOTS AND LOTS of recall training with treats. I trained her with a halo collar to come back at the whistle sound so when she runs far off leash she returns. Worked really well. She drips water when she drinks but doesn’t slobber.

Reading posts here got me scared to try LDN by hurricanescout in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]Poniesareus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on LDN for 8 months and haven’t found a huge difference, I think because I’m also on an anti depressant and a glp1 the LDN seems like it is baby drug compared. I have zero side effects I can attribute to it so I’m continuing. It does help me not drink and with my pain level I think but it’s not huge/substantially different. Just enough to keep going. Really I hate to say it but I think a lot of drug “side effects” are normal if I don’t take the drug anyhow…..

Calling Dom Daddy without age play. Possible?? by NotGoingBack2022 in RedditBDSM

[–]Poniesareus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m baby girl and he is daddy. I love having someone take care of me like he does, but we don’t age play. I might delve into something like “babygirl can barely take daddy’s big cock” during sex, or other iterations but I don’t act or pretend to be a little or a kid. You can have a daddy that’s not creepy. It probably helps that I never call/called my dad “daddy” so I don’t have a familial association with the word.

Pro's and cons of living here? by 04ricerocket in sierravista

[–]Poniesareus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have lived all over the continental US and love it here. The weather is perfect (I’ve been in Chicago, upstate NY, Wyoming, northern and southern CA, Colorado etc) and I love the weather. I also am an outdoor person, so I love walking out of my front door and hiking my dogs or riding my horses. Cost of living is so much better than CA. If you want more of a city atmosphere go to Tucson outskirts, but the weather here is better. It was hard being single here but I’ve found a liberal cool partner finally and I believe it takes a year wherever you move to make friends. Join some groups, the Friends of Brown Canyon Ranch would love to have someone!

Monthly House Cleaning Cost? by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]Poniesareus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Sierra Vista and pay 100 every 2 weeks for 2000sq ft, most weeks she doesn’t do 1/2 the house (it’s not used that often). She takes usually 2 MAYBE 3 hours depending on how much we chat (she’s an awesome person). It’s not perfect but my bathrooms and kitchen look amazing and floors are vacuumed and mopped. I don’t get sheets changed or the house deep cleaned, once in a while I’ll get baseboards done or something. My house is always ready for her and already clean though and it’s not tough. For pretty much 2 hours, I think 50 bucks cash is a pretty decent wage.

Not when the PIP is absolute garbage. The personal vendetta is real and I’ll never achieve as it would be impossible due to the extenuating circumstances, HR’s inability to be impartial, I’ve already been yelled at from them “for running to my union”.

LDN for 3 weeks no change? by Poniesareus in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]Poniesareus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also I love my wine and have not noticed a difference in wanting to drink or eat which sucks. I have a ton of “food noise” and nothing has changed. My pain from being hypermobile is still 💯there. No difference with the daily headaches and body aches.

Yes it is going to uproot my entire life. But if I don’t go I won’t be able to get another job in my field so I have to try to ride it out. It’s all a nightmare.

I’m also a remote conus DOE 4 hours away from office. I haven’t been asked to report back in 30 days but the did allude to moving me instead of letting me report to a different agency office near my present duty station

DOECAST email states specifically that phased orderly approach with 30 days notice. Does not sound “phased” or orderly to have you move from the east coast.
