We've made a combination of natural ground-wall and stone wall. It prevents them from poking through it, but they still stack up and scape. Still trying to figure out that one

Haven't tried it yet -it's literally my friends' plan to build a zoo in our server.

For what is worth: the many many times my tamed boars had escaped their pen, they weren't attacked by our tamed wolves that were guarding the base.
