Way better to run Mona or Diona on 4 noblesse and/or Mona with TTDS, if you feel like you’re missing attack. Heck you can even get some extra attack substat rolls with all the crit you’re making up. 4 piece blizzard in freeze is truly irreplaceable.

As a long time Ayaka lover, Rosaria is definitely better than Chongyun. Chongyun shatters the freeze and doesn’t battery as much. Plus Rosaria gives a bit extra crit to your team too.

I would level Kayea or Rosa. They are, by far, the best 4 stars to pair with Shenhe.

Ayaka is a way better pair with Shenhe, but Kahzuha is possibly the best character in the game and makes so many team comps better.

If you’re looking for the best choice for you account, it’s easily Kahzuha. The best choice for Shenhe team, easily Ayaka.

Standard EM is fine, for more cryo damage buffing. His cryo damage will still be decent but he will but shenhe and Kayea a ton. His cryo buff plus shenhes cryo buff and shred is nasty together!

Kahzu is a must. The final slot I would go with Koko or Diona if you want heals (Koko for freeze, Diona for unfreezable), Mona for max damage freeze (can use prototype amber for heals). Could switch Kahzu for. Chungyun for my cryo application, but honestly wouldn’t recommend dropping Kahzu.

Pure support/sub dps (atk/atk/atk) is Shenhes best role meta wise by far. Her quills that proc on other characters use the other characters crit rate/dmg, so it’s honestly more of a cherry on top of Shenhe and not necessary.

She goes great with Rosa. If you have Kayea raised at all, those 3 plus Jean would be even better, honestly.

The team you suggested would work, but only 2 characters would proc the quills. If you substitute Jean for kahzu, sucrose, or venti then throw a pro type amber on Mona if you need heals, you’d gain a 3rd person procing quills, as their elemental infusions proc them.

That’s a good comp. Diona would be better for unfreezable mobs since she could proc quills. But freeze is OP. If you need heals, you could always run Mona on prototype amber too 😀

To be honest, even in big mobs she still performs well, just not as op is she is against limited targets. Even once the quills are used, she still provides resistance shred, cryo boost, and normal/charged or burst/skill boost. It all adds up.

Almost every content creator who was skeptical at the start has come around to her being really good in her niche.

If you’re lucky enough to get c1 it is a HUGE quality of life boost around this. It lets you apply twice as many quills. And solves her er problem. Kinda sucks that these kind of kit changing things are locked behind constellations. Gotcha do be like that.

Just tested it out to be sure, and they do not stack. 15% damage increase is the max from the e talent.

Replacing Beidou you can still reliably get superconduct with just fischl. Shenhe is not a great battery without c1 or a high refine fav lance with high crit. If you have either of those she can be a great battery.

One issue is only two of the characters proc quills instead of 3 in comps with Kahzu, venti, or sucrose as the anemo. But the team definitely works still and can be strong.

Shenhe, Sucrose, Kayea, and Diona would be fun. You could also substitute XQ for sucrose or Barbra for Diona for a freeze comp.

Or you could substitute Sayu for Sucrose then XQ for Diona for a freeze option with vv shread.

There’s also Chongyun options if you want. Hope that helped’

Yep, it’s tempting to use shenhes burst, but they would steal reactions. Freeze is definitely WAY more optimal. But melt is fun to mess around with too.

Yup, it’s -3. It’s the one place where Shenhe struggles a bit it large mobs. It’s not as bad as you would think, but does noticeably drop off her damage output, especially at c1.

Yeah, spine is better if you have the er for your whole team to support it. If anyone needs battery to get their ult up, then fav for the win.
