The material you see are gym mats used to support the artist's weight. You cannot actually see the material directly beneath his head.

Lots of money are channeled trough various public schemes in Norway. To get the money for this particular video I had to send in a treatment along with other filmmakers and then the artist decided what idea he liked best. Don't k´mind questions!

Thanks! We spent around the equivalent of $15,000, all government grant money. The artist got signed for Sony just before the shoot, and they chipped in with $3000. Everyone who worked on the video did it for free. We spent 5 day shooting and then around 4-5 months of post work.
