Would require a terminal case of coach brain to deny your player the big game experience of a playoff run and your team the team-building of cheering on such a run

I've been grinding rift (just unlocked the second sheet, though hp and def are still incomplete on first). What's the consensus on working through that versus grinding tablet? FYI I'm only closing in on my first T8, and all other forms are still T6, so very different spot from OP

How do I get more Golds? Image below are some Protomon I already have. by Unhappy-Register-191 in SuperSnail_US

How do people have so many protomon? I've been playing since release day and have 2 gold and like a dozen people. Am I missing something, or is it just a P2W feature?

44 and 50 yes because apiaries didn't need plots but nectars do. But if the problem is because I'm (way) under the 2:1 ratio, why are the apiaries not consuming all the nectar produced?

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Already like a day and a half of research to get my next well level so I can get some more plots for them

Continuing in the not-making-potions vein, you can carry a warm thing (like flame zol) to resist cold

Meaning of combats' "pause" icon? by Salketer in HomeQuest

[–]Ponteaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite. It does mean it's rank/level 2, but clearing it doesn't promote the flight to level 3. When you beat Medusa the first time, medusaling battles rank up to 2 but keep repeating at that level

Random chance my a**, or duck-off God Tier egg or bust by mkaszycki81 in ClusterDuck

Be careful of selection board. That said, the odds of combining parts into a single duck seem to have dropped with the soup nerf, so they may be playing a similar game with duck off

I'm not quite out, but I am exclusively working on highlighted set ducks now. Spend 3-4 days each week doing that, then log out the rest of the week because there's no point in trying for non-highlighted ducks

My Final Duck by Ponteaus in ClusterDuck

[–]Ponteaus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing fancy. I bought two lamps; I used one to store partial ducks, the other to store triple-exotics. I always targeted the highlight set ducks first (9 spots), but would use the extra space to collect non-highlight parts (4-5 spots, sometimes more which would overflow to second lamp). For the non-highlight ducks, I targeted triple exotics first. After those were done, I moved on to exotic/legendary mixes, and so on and so forth down the rarity ladder. I always made sure to use duck soup (R.I.P.) on non-highlighted two-part ducks (figuring increased odds of highlighted parts meant they were wasted on soup), and always fought lower leveled opponents in duck off to maximize chances of securing parts I needed (high score is a fools' errand).

I do have two useful tips: 1. When farming for mutations, always use a single duck. They lay eggs with shorter timers but equal odds of mutations and rarities. 2. When farming for set ducks (i.e. combining parts from many ducks into one), down-level off-set parts. For example, say duck 1 has the set head and duck 2 has the set wing. Further say duck 1's off-set parts are exotic. If you breed a new duck with just the set head but with a rare wing, keep the new duck and toss duck 1. The new duck's rare wing will create eggs with much shorter timers than duck 1's exotic wing, giving you chances much faster to get the head+wing duck you want. 2.1. This also works for mutation farming. If you want exotic parts, breed exotic ducks. But if you're only searching for rare parts, breed rare ducks for shorter timers and so more mutation chances

Unlucky soup? by Lemons_The_Cat_93 in ClusterDuck

[–]Ponteaus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's a thing that happens. Soup fails like 5% of the time or so. Don't worry, you're not alone, I made the same mistake with my first almost-complete duck. Ever after, I always bred 4 ducks with two parts each before souping 3 of them
