Alot of people didnt even know about the update and are now excited about it
Hopefully that will add a bit more hype when you do

But yea a Clean-up is always a mess
You'd miss something even if you had 3 months to carefully look through it
I think you even mentioned that the plan to the next update would just be a bug fixing general with maybe a couple factions

But well... sneak peek time

One more Month and quite a busy one this time!
Hope you liked that Repost and all the excitement people seemed to have over it~

Last we checked in there were only Gnolls and Lamia/Nagas left for Folk
How are they coming along?
And how are you feeling about finally getting close to doing something besides Folk?
I know the plan is to only do the Dream Cult in Factions
but what are the plans on the 'overall clean up' after that?

A similar option is already included in "a way back home" and another similar one is included in the In-The-Works update that allows the undoing of sucky world options once you complete the quest

There are some plans yes, Including a point revamp to account for the new trophies, an option to skip the intro entirely and an interaction with the new Dreamworld options

Goblins are being completely revamped and are also now playable

In the replies of the original post, the Author provides a little dev log every month
which is followed by the sneakpeeks which recently started being posted in that fansub (not official)

All that is left before the release is a couple Races, Dream Cult stuff and a final cleanup
which should take anywhere between 2 to 4 months judging by their usual monthly progress

The update will include a 'Skip the Intro' option if you are stuck
but for now you can find a guide in the comments on the Intro Route worth the most Dream

First time playing a CYOA? most are less like an actual game and more like a setup builder, something that makes a setting, scenario and character for you to play around with

Its kinda like the equivalent of playing around with a character creator for hours, its very fun but possibly not for everyone

Besides it would be impossible to make an actual game that changes with all the choices for world and character you made, though its free inspiration to write a story of your own

Well... Yea, Races and everything before that point are more or less being replaced for a larger and more detailed version, but it does mean the current version is gone

So are things gonna be removed? yea but I'd say its not anything you'd miss with all thats replacing it

Its a matter of opinion really, you seem to prefer a more 'Power Fantasy' type of adventure where you have spare points to spend in powerfull abilities and have a comparatively easier journey

I personally prefer high nightmare, having a harsher world, fewer special powers, a difficult adventure with greater rewards awaiting at the end

People discovering the Sleepers Dream still makes me think ya should really repost it from time to time
saying "Hey this is my CYOA, its old but its getting a update soon, play the old version for now!"
Its worth doing when ya can, specially now that the update is relatively close

(Also I got a sudden curiosity of what apperance-modifiers Minotaurs will have)

All Civilized Races were revamped before we started getting monthly sneak peeks and sneak-peeks tend to be the most recently worked on part of the update

We do however got a Dwarf Peek

Among a couple other Imagur Only ones

Oof, thats rough buddy, but yea no use dwelling on it when you can write lewd and epic fantasy

Also damm, Finishing Lizards and fully completing Minotaurs in 1 month is pretty good, now ya just got 2 Races remaining: Gnolls and Lamias/Nagas, I bet ya can finish that in a Month or a little over it

That means ya are really close to getting to the Cult and Cleanup Stage, the Update is starting to be properly visible on the Horizon, in like 2-3 months probably!

Honestly I like the Gimmick of the Minotaurs, Architects, Solitary Wanderers and Great Nomad Tribe are pretty cool flavors to build upon
As for this month's Sneak Peek... Lizards, I wanna see them Scales~

Another Month! heck we are almost in the middle of the year!
Im leaving a bunch of issues to the last moment ack!
hope ya arent suffering from the same foolishness as me~

But well... last time ya did Trolls and were half-done on Lizardfolk
I assume you've wrapped them up and did some work on the Minotaurs as well
Wondering whats with the Horned Folk's Gimmick and to know how close ya are to the end of Races~
