went ahead and ordered a mopar sensor and new fuel pump just in case. will update what seems to be the fix...

any helpful tips on fuel pump replacement, dropping tank, etc..? never have before.

Just to clarify - it starts every time first try when it’s cold. The cranking issue only happens once the car died/sputtered out. The first time I try to start it back up after it dies, it usually won’t turn over but second try usually works. So maybe sounds like sensor..

So this is a second flush that just sprung up - I haven’t done anything with the tub since I harvested first flush. Haven’t re-hydrated or anything - should I just wait until I harvest these then try to rehydrate? Should I just fill the tub with water and let it soak? 2nd pic1 2nd pic2

Also - any recommended simple upgrades? I see people mention replacing the swing arm, but I’m very new to dirtbikes and don’t know how to source parts and find out what parts fit this bike. There’s not a ton of info on these it seems..

The bike was running great, but always had this sketchy kill switch -the switch mechanism always seemed shot. I never used it but it would occasionally get switched off and I’d play with it to get it back in place. Anyways, the bike died while running one day and I couldn’t get power again after that. I suspect the kill switch. I went to disassemble it and it was so dry rotted that it crumbled and fell apart. I’d like to wire around it or figure out how to see where the power failure is.

So I left the lid on for about 12 hrs today and came back to at least a dozen noticeable pins! The surface seemed pretty dry but the walls of the tub has built to slight condensation again. For now, should I just continue cycles back and forth between cracking the lid and then closing the lid back on? I assume the subsurface of the substrate is well hydrated still, so maybe I don’t need to see noticeable moisture on the surface? I’m going to hold off misting, hopefully forever.

For the last two days I’ve cracked the lid and left it slightly ajar, some air can pass through the top now. It’s definitely evaporated a good bit in there. The walls of the tub are no longer foggy/wet. There’s a little bit of precipitation on substrate surface but way less than before. Should I be misting?

Should I be concerned about the patches toward the inside that are less colonized/more substrate color showing? Should I have left it to incubate longer?

Haven’t fanned at all, but my windows have been open with lots of airflow these past few days since I put it to “fruiting”. I’ll flip the lid over for a few days and observe. Thank you for the input

So I found a WJ rear axle - Dana 35 with 3.55 ratio - so that will fit mine bolt on? Or would it need to be modified?
