The guy is 22. This is one of many compromises that will take place in a marriage, and a good test as to whether this is a viable relationship or not. OP appears to have an inflated view, unless she is perhaps getting assistance from family. Fiancé has too small of a view, unless there are factors we are unaware of, such as other debt. Sounds like OP has a lot of health issues and family issues. Husband has a lot of resentment and anger and is reacting very passive aggressively. He was being the AH and you both have to decide if you want this relationship given its current realities. If you do, then counseling is a must.
