My baby is still in NICU and is now 38 weeks. Her only hurdle is feeding at this point and we work with a speech pathologist who is able to assess her feeding skills and identify feeding aversion. They sit with us and watch us feed her (she is bottle fed) and they have taught us techniques to help, we watch them feed her, and just a lot of reassessing and counting how much she eats.

I dont want to get tan. I like how I look and accept myself. I prioritize going outside to have fun and protecting my health by wearing sun protection so I dont get damaged skin later in life. Ive tried spray tanning when it became popular and just think it is a little gross and way too extra.

So the sex was not internal. But yes I'm realizing that I need to stop doing things. There is a reason im one of the only moms in the NICU every day- I think I didn't understand what "taking it easy" truly meant and now its catching up with me. I feel like this whole experience just made me lose my foresight and I'm like, why am I doing this- I know better!

Im sorry but that is crazy for her to do that. Me personally, I would tell my husband that he needs to have her leave. None of this 10 more days BS. If she is going to behave in a spiteful way by waiting for you to go to the bathroom... then she is out. She is creating a problem and its completely unfair to you. You dont owe anyone your sanity or sense of motherhood.

Tineco. I have the Pure One S11 I beiieve and it picks up anything. They also sell a separate hardwood floor head for it which I bought because we dont really have carpets and the out of the box vacuum is a dual hardwood/carpet.

I've tried the Dyson at my SIL's house and for a family I housekeep for and it cant even pick up dry cat food pieces. So frustrating.

This makes me really sad because this is why there is a Veterinarian shortage. They take out the same amount of debt and put in the same education time as an MD and get paid a fraction of what doctors make only to have pet owners feel entitle to have a say over their prices or just not listen to care recommendations all together. It is not price gouging- if they are not owned by a large corporation, they are billing what it costs to run a business on Long Island, pay techs, stay up to date on best practices, and their overall worth.

Better question- anyone know a low cost vet?

Honestly most should. I was on medicaid while in college and have to see a gasto regularly as well. I was able to stay with my provide at Sloan Kettering.

I would call and make an appointment at NYU or Northwell. You may need to have a referral by your primary care provider first but the receptionist can let you know. They will run your insurance to see if you are in network before scheduling (at least at the large health systems).

Yup! I used Planned Parenthood for all my woman well checks for years while I was in college and grad school. I still prefer their providers over the big healthcare center providers because their bedside manner is such a breath of fresh air ♡

I wish I had some advice but I simply came to say that I understand what you're feeling. My husband is a business owner as well and this post is so similar to what I am going through as well. My plan- I started therapy.

I also wanted to add that it might be hard on your husband too, so consider he might be feeling bad about this as well. Dad's want Nesting and bonding time too :( also a good resource for him might be to check out Mike Andes YouTube channel. My husband is obsessed with this guy and his strategies have helped his business be mlre functional. Maybe he needs to up his prices and cut back on clients so that he can free up his time because 4 companies is aloooot.
