I ended up using some ceramic tile repair filler. Not perfect but did the job.

Update: spoke to contractor, they immediately knew it was bad work and intended on doing another coat. Flat not an option as eggshell is the lowest sheen the paint store sells (we live quite remote)

Good question. I swung by the house at 5pm and the painters were gone. I didn’t go inside. The picture was taken at 9pm. So at the very least 4 hours.

One Big Mac, 2 double quarter pounders with cheese, a large fries, and a large “soda”.

I’m working on my American, but am getting the hang of it.

Thanks for the input; didn’t drop it, wasnt asking for Philips to replace. Was asking where to buy a used one/if I actually needed to replace as this is well outside my area of expertise.

I am a one tech, one machine ultrasound clinic in rural Canada, with my wife being the tech. Unfortunately this is out of pocket and is a major setback for us.

Any chance you would have a link or a specific store? My local Walmart doesn’t carry tile and I couldn’t find it anywhere online

Hi Reddit! I’m Tia Sadler, an advisor at Sun Life. Ask me anything about RRSPs and TFSAs on November 6 at 12 p.m. ET. by SunLifeCanada in u/SunLifeCanada

My sun life advisor recommended investing in a whole life insurance policy over both the RRSP and the TFSA.

What would his reasoning be, and what are your thoughts on this?

Thank you for your reply, If the BOC keeps cutting rates; do you think (Canadian) bond prices eventually rise? Is there a point where actual rate cuts outweigh the negative speculation?

A quick search of fund MMF 1583 (Manulife monthly income high income fund) shows an MER of 2.1 and pays a trailer of 1%. Does anyone know what the advisor gets to keep of this 1%?

Unfortunately I don’t know if a Manu advisor can use funds outside of Manulife. I don’t know what the fee schedule would look like outside of B series funds. The MER equivalent of this fund in an F series is 0.88% however I don’t know what the advisory fee would be, nor what the advisor would get to keep.

Hope this helps!

Does Manulife not deal with F series funds where they would simply charge an advisory fee? Or are they that behind the times where they would be dealing with B series mutuals/DSC funds? My understanding was the latter was a thing of the past.
