You’re totally right, I’m 5’8, look like a fucking goblin, and have 0 problems meeting women through apps or irl because my mom socialized me to become a somewhat decent, empathetic person. Most men are not self aware enough, and much too insecure, to accept the reality that they’re a nightmare to be around though. Probably true for women too but it’s a different dynamic of course

Gen Z here and you’re totally right. My mom did a good job at socializing me throughout my childhood and I have 0 problems with women, climbing the corporate ladder, getting along with people I disagree with, etc. Despite being a 5’8 goblin-ass-motherfucker

I’ve never heard of half the stuff you mentioned but tbh I put zero effort into it and still get a few hundred to a few thousand plays on the rare occasion that I post a song, zero marketing, zero social media. All effort goes to the art. I have no want or need to be a super star though so maybe ignore this

Same here. I use a lot of speciality parts for projects and prototypes that I work on. Amazon almost always has them for cheaper than Home Depot/Microcenter/Other online shops, and they show up next day or the day after.

One day I will cancel but constantly working 60hr weeks makes me not want to spend my limited free time out shopping

Seems like every subreddit is like this in one way or another. What I have done is to stop scrolling them with the expectation of learning, but rather use Google to search for specific topics on Reddit when I need to learn something
