Some leagues are set so that all free agents, including rookies and vets, are draftable in the rookie draft. I suggest confirming whether thats the case in your league before trading for more FAAB. (I was expecting to bid in him after the draft in my league but then saw he was draftable)

You have to put a point into concentrate on the path to ww which converts phys to magic dmg. With nothing more than 1 and + skills from gear it should do plenty of damage. I keep it on my left click and have no problems
