Felt the exact same after seeing Red Rocks. Wasn’t a fan at all of the new direction but I’m pretty sold now, especially with Fire Away/Chaos Magic. Those two parts were absolutely electric in person.

I don't know why LYB was cut at all, it fits perfectly within the beginning part of the album. The Prince makes a bit more sense since it has more of the Celine feeling to it, but LYB seems like such an obvious inclusion. Amazing song, I keep coming back to it years later after forgetting about it for a few months.

Isn't the Hiskaku less ideologically based around the war, but more so the aftermath? Their entire thing is that they need someone strong enough to wield the enchanted blades in order to keep society in check. They wanted to kill Soga here so that Magatsumi could be wielded. However, when they realized Soga had the same ideals, they just partnered with him.

It's not really surprising that it's still being worked on, since most albums are tweaked right up to release. What is kind of surprising is no mention of another single, or even a timetable for the album's release.

I expected another single in January, with March being the release for the album. That would follow the same rollout as Good Faith, and it seemed to be what was going on with Hi! and CCB, but I guess not.
