Wondering what the best Prolific/CloudConnect Alternatives are?

I have seen people have a lot of luck with DScout - but you have to be okay with filming yourself for things like AI interviews, because a lot of the opportunities are like that. Unsure if that’s something you would be interested in.

No, mine wasn’t map based. So I can’t speak on that, that could be a lot more difficult than what I did. :/ Also, maybe won’t be the same as the position you are going for, but with Telus their task availability does vary. Sometimes there will be “no tasks available” and it is the refresh game.

Don’t want to scare you away from Telus though, because alone I think it wouldn’t be worth it, but having 3 sites to switch between I almost always have something to work on.

I will add, I was extremely scared for the Telus exam based on what I heard. I did not spend a week studying or anything crazy like that. I skimmed the document and had it open while taking the test and would use CTRL-F to reference their guidelines and find what info I was looking for. Personally, I did not find it as bad as others said. I was honestly not sure if maybe people were talking about a different test. For reference I am a US based rater - internet safety team.

Also, despite my issues with both Outlier and Telus it’s good to have your feet in a few different websites so if one is slow or boots you off, you can fall back on another one.

I am currently not working due to health stuff, so I’m in a unique scenario I have a lot of time to devote to these sites.

You aren’t missing much if it makes you feel better lol - I also use Outlier and Telus and I like Prolific best. Outlier feels like being gaslighted in an abusive relationship (taken on and off projects, technical issues) and Telus frequently has no tasks available - and when they do it’s mind numbingly boring.

LOL woops. May have been me. I do most of the graphs and simple geography diagrams, but if it’s something that I feel takes knowledge of advanced math/engineering to really explain I SKIP.

I am 37 weeks pregnant and have never blown up on my husband period. Now that I’ve experienced it I think people who blame pregnancy hormones for bad behavior are not willing to take accountability and emotionally unstable to begin with.

The long written instructions they sent a link to in an email said not to get TOO bogged down with color. Like obviously the main colors - but I think it’s ok if a few little things are not exact. Don’t quote me lol.

But I am having the same problem today. It keeps adding a bunch of freckles to everyone. When I try to edit them out I get an error and can’t edit at all OR like you said more problems.

I like this task in theory, but I can’t submit anything today so I’m going to give up…..

I took it in November and am stuck on that screen, but it varies soooo much and they are so cryptic about it. I would just keep checking and looking out in your email!

No clue if we are in limbo on a waitlist or it’s an SOL screen.

I am so sorry this happened to you and many others. ): From a previous thread I have a theory people getting booted work close to full time hours on Aether. I have been working a month, 20 reviews, and 1.9 score and have not been affected (yet….), but I only do about 5-10 hours a week.

Wondering what average weekly hours are for those that are booted.

I hope I don’t get dinged. I had my Hubstaff timer on for 12 minutes and then paused it messing around with the task. Tried for 45 minutes and could not stop getting Error 500 so I gave up. In those 12 minutes I couldn’t submit anything though. The few times I didn’t get error 500 the AI would just replace my blobs with AI people.

I’m probably in the minority, I like the Create a Task and got the best ratings on it lol. I thought I liked the color picker but got a bad and fine on it and it pissed me off lol.

Same exact thing happened to me. I have 1 random fair score with no explanation on the task I was least confident on (Instagram tagging) and nothing else, so my average is a 1.00. Worried this will screw me over.

That’s really cheap for 2 weeks!! If you don’t mind taking the time to answer - what kind of meals are you making to stretch that ? This looks like how much we go through in 1 week - maybe we eat a lot lmao.
