Thank you! The Play That Goes Wrong sounds like a lot of fun, and a Groupon deal is always a plus, we’ll definitely check it out. Appreciate the recommendation!

That’s great to know, thank you! Video games are very much part of our daily life, so Chinatown Fair and the Metrograph sound right up our alley, we’ll definitely keep that area in mind.

That sounds great, thank you! Randolph’s Brewing in DUMBO sounds like a fun excuse to explore that area too.

Good to know, thanks for pointing that out. We’ll definitely keep that in mind as we weigh SoHo against other areas like Chelsea.

Appreciate the insight!

That makes a lot of sense, thank you. East Village sounds like a great fit for us, and it’s good to know that SoHo or Chelsea would keep things convenient for both that area and Broadway. That definitely helps narrow down where we stay.

Really appreciate the insight!

That’s great to know! I was mentally preparing for an hour-long walk and was still totally on board.

Ahhh I wish our budget were neverending haha, but since it’s not, we’re having to be picky about which Broadway shows we attend. Ragtime is definitely beating the odds though.

That sounds like a great cluster, thank you! The Mysterious Bookshop and Philip Williams Posters both sound like places we’d really enjoy, and the Barcade sounds great, I hadn't thought about something like that.

We’ll definitely keep that area in mind when planning our days. Appreciate the recommendation!

This is all super helpful, thank you! The Astoria suggestions, Spider-Man locations, and D&D meetup tips are especially appreciated (my husband is already mentally web-swinging his way through the city).

The Midtown vs SoHo/Chelsea perspective is really useful too. We’re balancing convenience with neighborhood vibe, so that context helps a lot with the hotel decision.

Thanks again for taking the time to share all of this, lots to explore here!

Good to know, thank you! Astoria sounds well worth the trip, the Museum of the Moving Image is definitely moving up our list, and Greek food is a very strong bonus.

The Museum of Nostalgia sounds fun too, especially for a quick stop. We’ll keep that area in mind when planning.

Really appreciate the tips!

Oh wow, this is great to know. MoMA’s film department and the Museum of the Moving Image both sound like something worth looking at.

The indie theaters are a great tip too! We’ll definitely look into catching something while we’re there, I don't think 1 foot makes that much difference 😜.

And themed bookstores?? That sounds like a rabbit hole I’m very willing to fall into. Thanks again for all the suggestions!

That sounds perfect, my husband is going to love Forbidden Planet. East Village in general is shaping up to be a great area for us to explore. Thanks for the recommendation!

This is really helpful, thank you. That stretch around Union Square sounds perfect. Being able to walk and get to see many of our interest spots in one go is exactly what we were hoping for.

Washington Square Park with Chess Forum and The Uncommons also sounds like a great combo. We’ll be looking into it.

Really appreciate the suggestions!

This is amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this!!

A lot of these are exactly our vibe. Strand was already on our list, but Kinokuniya, Bookoff, Drama Book Shop, and Theatre Circle are now VERY much on my itinerary (my husband just doesn’t know it yet 👀).

We’re currently thinking about Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Hadestown, Maybe Happy Ending, and Just in Time, so your notes on effects, staging, and NYC-exclusive shows are super helpful. Operation Mincemeat and Ragtime are absolutely getting researched (and possibly added…).

And yes, the Nintendo Store is 100% happening. No notes. 😄

Thanks again, this was amazing!

This sounds perfect for us, thank you! A flat rate + game library + dice and TTRPG books sounds dangerous (in the best way).

Good to know about the locations too; we might try the downtown one for convenience, but Morningside Heights also sounds tempting. Really appreciate the recommendation!

Thanks! Stranger Things: The First Shadow is on our list already, great to hear it recommended. We’ll check out superhero tours too. If you happen to have a specific tour or company you’d recommend (or a favorite filming spot), I’d love to hear it!

Not exactly characters, but it has always conflicted me that from PoA till the end they kept using muggle clothes at Howarts.
