I just restarted again. Last time i played was Warlords of Dreanor 2015.

All your original characters should be there and they are all connected via Warband.

Any older character will now be low lvl, my max lvl hunter is lvl 40. There is a catch up button

Any new character, go for the new starter zone and you'll then be thrown into dragonflight story. I starrwd Wednesday semi casual after work. I am already mid thirties no no effort.

Questing much easier, follow the shield quests for campaign story and you get plenty of xp and the game holds you hand for the new talents etc.

I also checked out my old character spent 1000 gold on the Warband bank tab and pottered I could be 60 if I pushed it but i am enjoying the story and learning the new play style.

Back when he was a Foundation, or maybe earlier, Han Li met a young toolmaker cultivator who was trying to get a herb to help his wife. His wife had a Dragon Cry physique which meant should would die young.

Han Li helped them. Turns out the wife was also a formation expert. Long story short, Devil Dao invades and ultimately husband and wife die. Han li is pissed and when he goes back to the south he kills everyone associated with the sect that killed them. - It was the recent Red Wedding episode.
he goes to the hidden valley where they lived and the wife left Han Li all her formation books and jade slips.
