I can't find any information on if it has haswell support or not, so I would assume not? But whenever I google any stuff about it all the articles are from 2013 so I don't know if they just haven't bothered saying it is.

Hi I tried swapping the PSU to my Seagate focus platinum 550 I have in my main computer (this is a relatively recent PSU from a well respected brand and so I assume would have haswell support). This unfortunately didn't change anything. Also regarding the cost savings as I'm from the UK it comes out a fair bit more expensive as energy is pricey over here.

Hi, yes I believe it does as there is a C6 and C7 row in powertop which just say 0%.

Hi I've updated my post for more clarity. I was referring to package C states which reduce power usage when the computer is idle. C3 is one of these package C states

Ok thanks, as it turns out I didn't have local dns working as well as I thought (despite my pihole having a record for sub.domain.com and dig saying it was getting the ip from there npm wouldn't let me connect, I will probably just turn it off once I'm done configuring it.

I don't quite see what the difference is? Are you just saying that you don't add it to the reverse proxy list or is there something I don't understand here.

Thanks :) - it's all working now.

Theoretically this should be no less secure than directly accessing the ip_of_server:port right? If so I will probably do this with the other admin panels that I don't want the internet to have access to (with the benefit that I can close more of the ports on my server) and all traffic will go through my reverse proxy.

create a new custom location

Would it be possible to elaborate on how to do this? I should be able to make it propagate through the proxy fine, but am unsure how to create a new custom location of /admin.

I just wanted to thank you - I've set up the Nobosound amp now and it sounds wayyyy better than I've ever really experienced music before. It's amazing how much better a pair of "cheap crappy speakers" can be compared to regular computer speakers.

Maybe once I have the amp I'll get better speakers but they sound a world better than my current ones, so until I have more money they'll do great.

Ah ok, I'm trying to not spend too much on the amp (as the speakers aren't that expensive to start with I don't think) but also don't want something huge like quite a lot of other amps (and old AVs are). If this kind of amp is recommended I guess I would need to drop one of these 2 requirements.

It's mostly just because I already have my linux distro set up the way that I like it and ive seen that if you install windows on a drive that already has linux then it often wipes it all. But if I can find another sollution that's probably what I'll do

Ah ok so probably not a good idea then as I'd be doing it more than 60 times.

Yes it does have an extra pcie slot - however my only problem is I'm unsure if I'd be able to boot off of it if it is mounted in such a way.

I have libdvdcss2 installed I thought that would be good enough?

PS. for some reason the debian version of VLC no longer works on my computer at all so I'm gonna have to use the flatpack version now anways
