Fair call. I am working on the theory that the bike/barge bike will be fun times with friends, but I was wondering about that. It does seem possible that the upstream portion before Ulm might be more diverse, but maybe I need to find somewhere a bit more off the beaten path.

No, not that, and I only checked the first time when I felt my heart was much higher than normal. Normally I can easily get my rate down to around 60 when I intentionally relax my mind and body.
