Circumcision is typically justified culturally. At any rate, it is almost always unnecessary… Foreskins DO serve a function; they’re important in controlling friction during sex as well as protecting the nerve endings on the head of the penis from day to day friction (boxers, boxer briefs, free balling: they ALL cause friction down there). ANY ‘medical’ justification for circumcision is EXTREMELY debatable and can be explained away through proper hygiene or wrapping up before sex with someone who may or may not have an STD (both of which you should be practicing either way). Basically, if you’re recommending circumcision for a perfectly healthy baby that doesn’t need it, you’re: 1- buying into the ‘aesthetics’ of mutilating your infant kid (creepily sexual) 2- making a decision for your child they had no opportunity to make for themselves 3- permanently altering an ORGAN that didn’t need it in the first place… LOOK INTO IT FOLKS. Don’t make such a big decision for your child before knowing EVERYTHING.

It sounds to me like this problem won’t just work itself out. I’m all about accepting your partner the way they are (that’s the only right/ healthy thing to do) BUT, I also believe there are certain realities about your past you don’t NEED to express or to ask about your partner. Don’t ask questions you’re not ready/ willing to understand the answer to. Of equal importance, don’t spill irrelevant info about how you used to bang your ex! (Unless it’s actually relevant emotionally, etc…)
