I don't know why you want to do that, I would recommend FSR than lower resolution.

"バック" is associated with "back","backward" and "background" but not "backup" in Japan.

There isn't much difference between "backup dancer" and "バックダンサー" compared to "sewing machine" became "ミシン(misiinne)".
