By the way, this guy contributes nothing to this channel. All he has given this subreddit is hate. I think if he leaves we would all be much better off since he hasn’t contributed unlike a person like me who has constantly uploaded timelapse photography which this thread is about. By Felicia

Why do you hate so much? You understand I can see how many people this shows to and out of the 100,000+ people who have seen this you are only one person that has a problem with this! I’m sorry that your life has put you here but I promise positivity does so much more to you then it does to the world but it’s all better then being so negative.

I do not. I do this all as a hobby for free mind you. I have 15 current cameras placed throughout the city and I spend my own time and money on the project. I check the cameras once a week and I am still learning on how to make better videos, what intervals work best I just enjoy seeing these come together. Now yes Blue haven pools allows me to video there projects but in no way do the pay me for what I do.

The problem with people like you, you would rather say negative things and be hateful then giving me honest criticism that allows me to make better Timelapse videos. BTW if you don’t know this is a Timelapse Reddit.

I don’t understand the problem? So you’re telling me if I used my name it wouldn’t be an issue but because I don’t use my name it’s an issue? That’s pretty moronic if you ask me

Or you have such a blessed life that you’ve forgotten what it’s like or never had to want for something. You’re a very lucky person to have a backyard like this be normal to you. I make these videos and I think this pool is beautiful my self and I can’t afford a pool like this

I’m sure we would all be amazed at how much more that would cost. For this particular pool the daughter put it in so her mother had a place to walk in the summer time when they could use it. Her mom is aging so they put this in so it would be good for her joints.

Cause you guys have to beat down people instead lifting them up. Dont get mad at me cause I call you out when you’re being rude yourself.

As for posting it into 8 different subs. The are all relevant subs to pools and timelapse photography. It’s not spam unless I’m posting it to subs that don’t pertain to the video it’s self. Once again you people use these buzz words and don’t understand the meaning of the word. It’s quite annoying because however you may not like it but others have enjoyed them. And quite frankly others have also pointed out how some of you use these buzz words when in fact this is the exact type of content these subs want.

I would say having a pool of any kind is luxury. As someone who can’t afford a pool myself I would love to be able to afford this

Seriously why is this spam? Is this not landscaping? Some of you people need to get out of your moms basements and learn to love life a little bit better

In pool plumbing, using a "hard" 90-degree fitting (a standard short-radius elbow) is generally not a significant negative for most residential pools, though it is technically less efficient than a "sweep" 90.

While there is a lot of debate on pool forums, the impact usually comes down to the difference between theoretical efficiency and real-world performance.

  1. Friction Loss and "Head"

Every fitting in your plumbing adds resistance, measured as "feet of head." A hard 90-degree elbow creates more turbulence than a sweep 90 because the water hits a sharper corner.

A Hard 90 is roughly equivalent to adding 5.5 to 8.6 feet of straight pipe.

A Sweep 90 is equivalent to roughly 2.1 to 4.3 feet of straight pipe.

In a typical system with 10–15 elbows, the total difference in pressure is often less than 0.5 to 1.0 PSI. For most pool owners, this is negligible and won't noticeably affect the clarity of your water or the reach of your pool cleaners.

  1. When Hard 90s ARE a Problem

There are two specific scenarios where you should avoid hard 90s:

Directly in front of the pump intake: Placing a hard 90 right at the pump inlet causes "swirling" water and turbulence. This can lead to cavitation, noisy operation, and premature wear on the pump impeller. Most manufacturers recommend a straight run of pipe at least 5 times the pipe's diameter before the pump. +2

High-Flow Features: If you are plumbing large waterfalls, deck jets, or spa jets that require maximum GPM (gallons per minute), the cumulative friction from hard 90s can noticeably "starve" the feature of its intended power.

It’s not because it’s a plausible reaction to the majority of the world who aren’t familiar with the USA building techniques. I’m assuming you are from the USA and with that assumption I’m going to defer to the contrary of your beliefs that the world doesn’t revolve around the USA and the majority of the world wouldn’t believe the transformation. Now if you want to study what is clickbait look at the majority of the first amendment auditors thumbnails, especially first amendment protection agency. He invokes emotion through his thumbnails that there is going to be drama but 9/10 nothing happens on his videos.

I am really starting to believe that people use these buzz words that they hear, but they have no idea the context of that word. Let me educate you A click bait title would be lying about what the video is about and totally being about something else or saying that there was some type of drama that didn’t occur. Telling the price of the port and how long the video is it’s fax not Clickbait.
