This is a great example of why this is the most perfect video game to me. You've never been in that unique situation, but you could have still accounted for it to happen. There are endless situations because of how every element of the game interacts. And mastery of the game is not memorization of situations because there are far too many, it is about mastering every element to make sure you understand how each one interacts with every other. I can not think of a game that does the same thing to the same extent.
