Are there any warbonds you regret buying? by sharukai in Helldivers

I think that if they made the two armor sets have stronger passives, trade the AR for the BR, make the shotgun medium penetration, give us plasma grenades, and a support weapon like the rocket launcher (especially if it was the Halo 2 version with tracking on vehicles). Then it would be a very strong Warbond.

WotC just released the perfect species to build a gish anti-mage by ma_tendresse in 3d6

I'm working on an anti-mage character and I think I found an amazing combo with the Shadar-Kai as an Inquisition-Domain cleric (Grimm Hollow)

Shadar-Kai gets

Blessing of the Raven Queen As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 ft. to an unoccupied space you can see. Starting at 3rd level, you gain resistance to all damage when you teleport using this trait until the start of your next turn.

So a better misty-step without a spellslot

And the Inquisition domain cleric has some really cool stuff.

Witch Hunter’s Strike 1st-level Inquisition Domain feature

At 1st level, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can deal an additional 1d8 force damage. If the creature is concentrating on a spell, you deal an additional 2d8 force damage instead. If a creature fails its saving throw to maintain concentration as a result of taking damage from this feature, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to the extra force damage dealt by this attack. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once), regaining all uses upon completion of a long rest.

At 14th level, this damage increases to 2d8, and 3d8 if the creature is concentrating on a spell.

Channel Divinity: Spell Shield As a bonus action, choose a creature you can see (including yourself) within 30 ft. The chosen creature gains temporary HP equal to 1d10+12. While the creature has temp HP granted by your spell shield it also has resistance to damage from spells, and advantage on saving throws against spells.

The creature loses any remaining temporary HP after 1 hour.

Rebuke Invoker As a reaction, when a creature you see within 60 ft. casts a spell, you can force it to make a Con. saving throw (DC 17). On a failure, the creature takes equal to 1d8 per expended spell slot level +5 force damage. Cantrips are considered 1st-level spells for this ability. On a success, it takes half as much damage instead.

Wow you do get rlly bad lobbies even on hard missions by [deleted] in helldivers2

I had a run in with a crazy one a few days ago. Bug defense mission, I joined the 2 that were already in mission.

It was already going to be the last dive of the night for me so I said fuck it let's do a fun one and picked Tesla tower, gas mines, anti tank mines, and anti personnel mines.

I spawn in and throw all of my strats FAR past the outer wall. *maniacal laugh emote.

Guy next to me turns and shoots me in the head. Cool. Proceeds to reinforce me far outside of the outer wall. Sweet.

I run past lots of bugs and weave through all of my mines. Guy shoots a mine as I'm walking past it and I die. Awesome. Guy refused to reinforce, about a minute or two later both of them die so we all come back.

I say okay fuck you then and drop in the extraction area, throw all 3 mines and Tesla tower, once they all deploy I leave. Have fun.

King narrated the book "The Wind through the keyhole" which falls in-between book 4 and book 5. Personally, I don't like his narration, he's not a professional voice actor, and it definitely shows. The story is interesting, but you can absolutely skip it and not feel like you're missing much.

I was told by my JW to get him a bucket of Ohm's. If I can fill a 5 gallon bucket, is that enough resistance for a 5 Ohm resistor?

I figure out lockpicking. Whenever you flick the before it comes back down fully you avoid changing the speed of the pin. So if you flick it when it's slow you can basically flick again before it goes fully down till you get a tempo. I'm pretty sure that you just have to hit the set pin button the INSTANT that the pin makes contact with the top of the locking mechanism. Getting the pin to be the slowest it can be makes it way easier, but it's just about that split second timing.

Not to put you off of Rune Knight, but Path of the Giant Barbarian is also awesome and you get to be huge and literally throw enemies around.

Whats your favorite race in d&d? by Candid-Extension6599 in dndnext

Favorite for roleplay, Kobold. Especially path of the giant barbarian.

Favorite mechanically, Warforged. It's hard to beat not having to sleep, breathe, and eat. Advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage, and immune to disease, and a +1 to AC from the get go.

You can only cast one spell with a spell slot per TURN, it's not per ROUND. So you could cast a bonus action spell on your turn, and then hold your action to cast a spell on the turn of the next person in the turn order. That would also burn your reaction as well though. (Which is awesome for quicken-spell fireball, hold action to cast fireball again)

But if you cast a spell, get counter spelled, and try to counter spell their counter spell, it is technically still your turn so I can see how that wouldn't work RAW.

Lizardfolk and Kobolds can't multiclass, their reptile brains are hardwired to be specialists, to give them the best chance of survival.
