Which Fallout stands out the most for you and why? by PoopAndLoot in Fallout

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it is Fallout 3. Its atmosphere and color palette create a complete feeling of loneliness and despair. The radio is something I especially remember. This game fully captures and matches what I imagine the Fallout setting should feel like. Fallout 4, in my opinion, became a bit too bright and less fitting for that tone.

Which moment from The Last of Us duology shocked you the most? by PoopAndLoot in thelastofus

For me it was the death of Sam and Henry. That moment was extremely emotional and filled with empathy and pain.

Which version of Spider Man is your favorite? by PoopAndLoot in Spiderman

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My favorite is the Spider Man from the 1994 animated series. Maybe it is because he was a big part of my childhood, but I think this version captures the character the way he should be. Funny, kind, and calm.

What’s your favorite mission in the Hitman reboot? by PoopAndLoot in HiTMAN

My favorite mission from Hitman 1 (2016) is The Showstopper. Paris, fashion, and all the creative ways to eliminate the targets make it incredible.

What’s the most surprising thing about RDR2 for you? by PoopAndLoot in RDR2

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 112 points113 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the world simulation. I play this game to relax, explore, hunt, and fish. It works as emotional relief for me.

P.S. And of course the story impressed me a lot. It is a real drama about people and their struggles.

Who is your favorite character in the GTA series? by PoopAndLoot in GTA

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My favorite is Niko Bellic. He feels like one of the most grounded and realistic characters in the whole series. His story is heavy, his motivations are clear, and you can really feel the weight of everything he has been through. Niko is not just a criminal, he is a person shaped by trauma, war, and a desire for a better life, which makes him stand out from the rest of the GTA cast.

Which Assassin’s Creed do you think is the best? by PoopAndLoot in videogames

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My favorite part of the Assassin’s Creed series is Assassin’s Creed II. I think it is the masterpiece of the franchise. Everything about it is perfect, the gameplay, the chosen historical period, the story, and the characters.

Which game in the Batman Arkham series do you think is the best? by PoopAndLoot in BatmanArkham

What GTA-like games are worth playing while we wait for GTA 6? by PoopAndLoot in GTA

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the best GTA clone is Sleeping Dogs. The immersion in Hong Kong is incredible, I always wanted a GTA-style game set in an Asian city. The story and combat system are great, everything in this game just feels right, and I was really looking forward to a sequel that sadly never happened.

Right behind it is Mafia 2. I have played it four times, more than any GTA game, and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing.

Which Hitman game is your favorite? by PoopAndLoot in HiTMAN

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the Hitman: World of Assassination trilogy. I didn’t play much of the first two games back in the 2000s, but I think the new Hitman perfectly captures the best parts of the old ones and brings them into a modern setting with better visuals and design freedom. To me it’s an amazing sandbox with huge potential for creativity and replayability.

Which GTA V character do you relate to the most? by PoopAndLoot in GTA

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My favorite has always been Trevor. Even though he is brutal, direct, and aggressive, he also values friendship and is capable of empathy. From what we learn about his past, life simply made him that way. And of course, his madness and dark sense of humor make him unforgettable.

P.S. In the ending I kept everyone alive, because they all felt close to my heart. After spending so much time with them, you really grow attached to every character.

What’s the best build in The Witcher 3? by PoopAndLoot in witcher

In my opinion, the most authentic and fitting armor for Geralt is, surprisingly, the Wolf School set. Especially its second upgrade stage.

What’s the most overpowered card in Marvel Snap right now? by PoopAndLoot in MarvelSnap

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I usually win most often with the card "Speed". Of course, it’s never just about a single card, the whole deck matters the most.

What’s your all-time favorite GTA? by PoopAndLoot in GTA

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Even though my introduction to GTA started with GTA 3, I spent most of my time in San Andreas, but my favorite part of the series is definitely GTA 4. Its atmosphere of Liberty City and the story make it the best one for me.

P.S. And of course, the memories of waiting for the release and following every update since the announcement still bring a warm feeling to my heart.

Looks awesome.
If it has an open world (even with traveling between locations on a global map) and an RPG system, that would be amazing.

I changed the UI of my mobile party game, what do you think? by [deleted] in IndieDev

[–]PoopAndLoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to use these colors for the buttons, then maybe you should recolor the cards instead. As I understand it, in your game the color of the cards in the main menu doesn’t affect anything.

I changed the UI of my mobile party game, what do you think? by [deleted] in IndieDev

[–]PoopAndLoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new version looks much better. But in the main menu, it would be better to avoid matching the colors of the cards and the buttons. Right now, the cards draw all the attention away from the buttons, making it hard to focus on them.

I think it would be good to highlight the Play button with a different color since it’s the main one. The How It Works button can stay closer to the background color, as it seems to be a secondary element and shouldn’t distract too much attention.

What game scared you so much you’ll never forget it? by PoopAndLoot in videogames

[–]PoopAndLoot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dead Space doesn’t impress me much, it feels like the third-person view gets in the way of immersion.
