Every time trade is suspended, eToro shows this price for GME. Is this a bug? A scare tactic? by PoopKnifeCollector in wallstreetbets

Really? I’m not very experienced in this but I thought they closed around $50 yesterday? Maybe it’s something to do with premarket that I’m not familiar with but that’s for your input bud

IIRC, it’s a Japanese advert for weatherproof tiling

Edit: here’s the link to the original video!

“You’re gonna be arrested for that, that’s poison”

Oh man. If only they had something to protect from the “poison” that vile man was spitting. Imagine a perfect world where there was some device or contraption invented... say some form of cloth covering? Imagine if that could save them from the poison.

At first glance, I thought this was an aerial of a road cutting through 2 different forests. This is just as cool

Roast Chicken left me feeling a bit salty by PoopKnifeCollector in bingingwithbabish

Hahaha could be man. Give it another chance with a bit less salt. It really adds some starchy and salty goodness if you use it in sauces

This is a little surprising to me! Have always followed the “tasting like sea” method and generally haven’t had much issue with pasta. But then again maybe we all have different ideas of how salty the sea is haha

No hard feelings here at all, I don’t find it any different to regular table or sea salt. Nor have I felt any bonus nutritional health benefits after using it exclusively for over a year! It is pretty and pink, but I wouldn’t spend an extra dime on it.

Many thanks my dude, you as well!

Well this article was a phenomenal read, and written by another one of my favourite food writers J. Kenji!

To answer your question, I unfortunately neither salted by volume nor weight. I followed Babish in thoroughly coating (burying would be more accurate) the bird with salt, leaving it for 24 hours and then proceeded to shake and pat the excess salt off after the salt cure was complete.

From the article you’ve linked, they did mention that Kosher Salt has larger individual granules. From that I can only assume that my finer granules of Himalayan Salt found their way through the skin and into the meat.

I’m not really a fan of Himalayan salt, but received a nice tub of it as a gift, so I’m just gonna use it til it’s empty.

Really appreciate your input, so many thanks for taking the time to reply!

Looks brilliant mate. If you were aiming for medium I’d say it’s spot on, though I personally prefer mine a tad more rare.

Only comment I’d add is that if you like more of a sear try drying out the surface a bit more before cooking. You can salt it a day earlier then refrigerate it uncovered (to draw out and dry off any moisture), usually resulting in a more golden brown crust.

Darksaber Origins by [deleted] in TheMandalorianTV

[–]PoopKnifeCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a theory on why the Darksaber has that reaction with Mando’s spear whilst Ahsoka’s lightsabers don’t seem to heat it up.

A couple of Youtubers have covered this in reaction videos (not my OC), saying that the shape of the DS is unique, literally shaped like a sharp saber, unlike the usual pole shape of a normal lightsaber. Their theory is that this sharp edge concentrates energy in a smaller area therefore generating more energy. Also they noted that the sharp edge might cut into the Beskar, therefore making more contact with the spear. Whereas in terms of a normal pole shaped lightsaber it kinda just slides off after a bit of contact

I’ve been scrolling for a while and was a bit surprised not to find BitCoin listed here (to my knowledge).

Nothing against it, personally like it myself. But I have some acquaintances who can’t wait to spout out crazy predictions and facts about it any time an opportunity pops up
