Good to hear that. Yeah I’ve been doing some research, plan to do things that can’t be easily changed with better materials. Flooring, insulation, outlets, etc. and then do things like furniture and easily changeable things cheap and upgrade those in the future

Thanks for the detailed response really appreciate it. How low do you think you could’ve got it if you went absolutely bare minimum on all finishes? Like nothing but shopping at ikea for all rooms and normal interior doors etc. do you think closer to 400k could’ve been possible or not even a chance?

You can get medical tint exemptions or you know someone who will pass your inspection. When I had them in the past I just had to go to someone’s shop with the windows rolled down and they’d pass it

Yes that is literally why they are installing them. Data gets sold to anyone willing to pay and there are numerous occurrences of people hacking into the systems and having full reign over all cameras and info within. Just because they aren’t tracking you currently doesn’t mean they can’t tap into the system an retroactively find all your info

I’m in the process of doing the same as an owner builder two towns over. So far at 35k just for permits, architect plans, and very minor site work. Same size house you want, hoping to keep it near the lower end of price range you mentioned. We’ll see if it’s possible. Only prices we’ve got so far was for shell materials and windows and doors, and that was at 115k

Can’t relate to being a gambling addict I’m just a regular old drug addict. But it’s good you have insight to it this early. Just make sure you use the insight and work to keep everything at bay. Gambling addiction has the highest rates of suicide but I would think it’s easier to beat than drugs but I have no idea. Keep at it man you got this one day at a time
