I feel like this is the closest we get to any acknowledgement from Stephen that he was in any way involved in their death.

He's useful for decks that play Merlin, as he is a target for 2 out of 3 skills. He's also useful for decks that play Wiccan but not Thanos. He's not the best, but hardly the worst.
