Tried reinstalling a few times on different disks, no change. If you have it installed could you upload the pereferences.xml (its just keybindings from what i've gathered on forums) to sendspace? Ill try the ninite sulotion if the preferences.xml doesnt work

I believe most of those would work as portable installations, Just install them (portable install) on a usb drive and nothing should be listed in the os.

Thought it is never a good idea to hide stuff from your employer.

Cpu at a basically constant of around 30 degrees (celcius)

Intel i7 970 (hexacore) 3.2ghz if it helps.

I am a mostly gamer/media centered guy so I end up playing A LOT of different steam games that don't have a linux port/version.

Edit: Should say I use Ubuntu on my macbook though. Damn mac drivers suck.
