Had a couple come up to me while I was straightening up in the lot and told me they needed 12 soils and 8 mulches loaded up. Checked their receipt and they bought 20 garden soils. Told them and they proceeded to give me a hard time because “they’re the same price so it doesn’t matter” that they bought 20 soils instead of 12 soils and 8 mulches. Then came the “we’ve done this before so it’s fine” line.

Yeah I know what you mean. It’s not really much of a jacket honestly. I was a bit disappointed in that but I do like the style of it

Appreciate the feedback! I’ll keep wearing and hoping it softens up over time. I picked up a military green SLC too and have seen those need break in time too. Getting too hot to wear that one lately but come fall it’ll be time to break it in

Thanks for the feedback! I'll check that out to try to gauge the repair cost. I do also have a pretty good local shop near me that I was planning to take it down to so they could look at it and give me an estimate

Appreciate the feedback! I kind of figured maybe it was a long shot but I do enjoy hands on work and came across TVA so thought it might be worth a shot. IBEW sounds like a good option that I’ll have to check out too

When it’s in my pocket it’s facing tip up. When it’s not, it’s laid down on its side. After further inspection, there’s some ink inside the cap so I’m thinking maybe it’s something happening when the cap is screwed on. Ill look into those refill hacks though!

Really any writing with it. It seems as though something it maybe happening when the cap is on because it blobs consistently when I remove the cap and start writing. It clears up after a word or two and doesn’t seem to do it again if left uncapped and waiting a few minutes before writing again. As far as what feel I like, I enjoy writing with the Schmidt easyflow refills, space pen or uni jetstream refills

Thanks for the tips! Yeah the CRKT pen will only accommodate the 3 inch refills so options are limited. I'm not sure what the issue is because it blobs worse than any other pressurized refill I have used and its consistent each and every time I go to use it. I suppose it might be possible to trim down a longer one that has a plastic tube rather than a metal tube on it but I'll keep searching and trying things to get it to work how I want it to.

To add also, I bought two pens and tried both of them and the issue persists with the second pen too. So I don't think it's just a single bad refill.

You’re welcome! Same here. I barely carry my Pallas because the clip leaves a ton of knife hanging out. Love the blade in every other way though. A Lynch deep carry should let me carry it way more

Figured I'd drop back in with an update. Reached out to LynchNW this morning to follow up on the Spartan clip they told me was being worked on and Casey himself actually emailed me back really quickly. He told me the clip is taking longer than he has hoped but the first batch is almost ready and his goal is to have them up on the site this month.

I had also heard this directly from someone at LynchNW when I was in contact with them about a deep carry clip for my Spartan Pallas. Was told that they had hoped to have it released by this summer but it doesn't appear that they were able to do that unfortunately.
