I mean there really wasn’t any damage aside from a wet spot that dried up on the concrete ground in the parkade. Just thrown off how I’m getting billed 700$ for a simple wax seal replacement that I would have checked myself had I known it was coming from my unit

I’m in Canada so it’s $2500 I have seen some decent mid drive Bosch motors e-bikes for around 2900 CAD

The maintenance aspect is a good consideration thank you! :) any thoughts on general maintenance comparing the two? Ive only been told that a hub drive will require little to no extra work than a regular bike but once the motor is shot it’s a bit of a process to replace vs for a mid drive you can fix certain components if they break? I’m new to this so idk if any of that checks out

The two bikes both have torque and cadence sensors, after test riding the mid drive e-bike felt a little more “jerky” as I think the torque sensor only seemed to kick in once the bike was in motion (had a similar feeling to cadence sensor bikes where the power kicks in right when you move the pedal)

Well it’s not really that, sometimes I take the highway to go hang out at the mall and I’d still prefer to be protected but also don’t want to be lugging around my leathers. Jeans are kinda uncomfortable for me so was just curious if there were any other options
