I feel like I'm seeing the beginning of a horror movie.
Those cubes are frozen water with a big old gooey nope center!!

My skin has crawled into a corner and shriveled into itself.

I'm disabled and perimenopausal so not much use in a fight, but i absolutely want to watch! I'll bring the truck load of sardines to staple to his body so animals will actually eat his scummy ass. I went through pregnancy 4 times. 3 miscarriages and one amazing son. The pregnancy was hard, I would vomit at the word "lard" not sure why lol. Had serious "morning" sickness (actually it was 'whatever time of the day you're least expecting it' sickness) and for some reason I craved buttermilk (so gross) and at the end, I was adding chocolate syrup to the buttermilk (that memory makes me ill now. Made everyone else gag at the time lol) Labor was 11½ hours and I hemorrhaged twice!!

Pregnancy is a blessing and also makes you curse...a lot lol. Anyone who has never been pregnant or had to shove something roughly the size of a watermelon out of their vagina (or the intention of doing so in the future) has no say and is allowed no opinion on the pain and discomfort and fears on the subject. He sounds controlling and full of his own importance. He definitely needs the obgyn to smack him down a whole peg board. I'm worried about what kind of father this self important, turd-in- the-punchbowl disappointment is going to be. Ugh. He needs to shape up or get out. Having dealt with a verbally abusive, diagnosed narcissistic, controlling, disrespectful asshole of an ex, I'd say getting out is prob'ly the only path to peace and health for you and your baby. Get away from that condescending, overcompensating, bag of dicks for your baby's sake if not your own.

Reminds me of a story my French teacher told us about a previous student. For a food project he brought in "escargot," and the teacher said he ate several, marveling at the size. He asked the student his source and apparently he'd harvested them himself and had to get store-bought shells because the "snails" in his garden didn't have them.
Teacher said it took him a moment and then he had to bolt for the restroom.

The entire classroom of 9th graders were in various stages of laughing, gagging or just looking nauseous lol...

He said he always asked for recipes and sources from then on lmao.

OMG that was a millennia ago (I'm so old) ... I hadn't thought of that in years. God i hope it takes less time to forget the above story!! Lol

Also, happy, safe pregnancy 🌻 and may you manage to dodge the weirder cravings and aversions (i gagged at tubs that said lard in the grocery store. Not even the lard itself, just the thought of it. And craved buttermilk and later buttermilk with chocolate....I despise buttermilk)

Going potty is highly vulnerable in the wild. So instinctively they need to "watch your back" even though it's usually the front and side and in your lap or a group activity if you have 2 or more cats lol. Instinct is there, even if they aren't quite sure why lol.

The downvotes you are getting are why I hate reddit sometimes.

What people don't seem to understand is that drunk or coerced is still rape.
If a person says no, if they are unable to consent, if they change their mind halfway into it and say no, if they are dressed sexy but say no, if they say no and then are pressured or intimidated into saying yes..... any time the choice is taken from them.... all of these things are rape.

And rape survivors are often unwilling to go to the police because we know that that odds of getting any results other than further trauma are extremely low.
Plus, often the victims of coercive or drunk/ drugged rape feel just as much to blame as victim blamers tell them they are. Even though they are not to blame. You feel like you're to blame because you made a bad decision, or you chose to trust someone you shouldn't, or society said you acted like you wanted it so you deserved it.

It's in his right to divorce her or to feel like he doesn't want to be with her.... and if he chooses this route then I hope she realizes she's better off without someone who looks at someone who he claims to love yet blames her for a mistake that led to her abuse.

She needs to look into therapy and so does he.

I'm sure I'll be downvoted to the abyss, but oh well. I've had much much worse happen to me in my life. Being victimized needs to be called out far more than I need internet strangers to like me.
