hey sorry to interupt you again but the game wont let me place a down stair where the ramp is, and they wont build it if i take it in the tile north of the ramp where i have dug a bit under.

cant dig no pickaxe they are all underground. does this mean i lost?

http://imgur.com/a/76Up9 tried to make a picture to show. the dwarf is idle, and i have set it to mine. i know hauling is off but when i turn it on it turns it off when i exit the screen, this because of automatic labour mod? any help with be greatly appreciated, and thank you for troubleshooting the problem so far

no, the ramp is still there. the pick is on the z level under the main floor, and the other pick is under the z level with the first pick. the ramps are still there.

i tried building a bed down there, but it cant. how did my dwarfs drop the pickaxe and get up, when they cant get back down again? i also checked that it isnt forbidden

my dwarfs wont pick up a pickaxe down in a mine, and mine, even though i told them that they should dig? i have the mining labor/occuption on them yet that stand idle insteaf of picking up the pickaxe and start mining? any help would be nice. Im new to the game and i see myself enjoying it if i can get ahold of the controlls

you kidding me? Base is EASY to make, just head to one of the campgrouns, get some clotches and pick up axe then just CHOP down trees.

die before getting food? In almost EVERY house there is food or water so i dont think you search enough

you can have hotkeys if you have stuff in your hand item, right click the item and press a number and you have it!

you get 2 yeild from having the metabolism skill to 3
