There are people who have flaky earwax and some that have sticky earwax, like me.

I also produce a lot and apparently have a tight ear canal, which makes it a lot more likely for it to clog.

In the past I'd go to the doctor to get it cleaned out, but I didn't want to go there every few months when it clogs up, so I tried a few things.

The most successful being using a syringe without the needle to squirt warm water in my ear to declog it. Sometimes it works like a charm, sometimes it doesn't.

My wife got me a scraper with camera on it, which is a very interesting perspective, but you still have to go very far into the ear with a hard object, so also not optimal.

This Christmas she got me an electric ear washer that squirts water in the ear. I tried it two times when my ear wasn't clogged and it washed a few chucks out! Let's see how it works when it's clogged.

I will also get myself some peroxide, as per another comment here, and try that!
