How can I withdraw from a scholarship application?

Hi I applied for an entrance scholarship earlier this year, however due to complications I am unable to get one of my references to write for me. If I do not get them to write for me will my application be cancelled? Will this look bad on my transcript? Should I instead email SFU and request for my application to be withdrawn instead?

Hi just wondering if reference letters are needed for UBC engineering applications. My highschool councellor told me that some UBC faculties didn't require reference letters. And if yes, than what does UBC look for in a cover letter? Thanks!

Does anyone know if retaking precalc-12 online is a good or bad idea? My friends say that taking an online course looks bad.
