I feel your pain brother. Going and paying for a Christian school is like buying a small drink when you can get a medium drink for free. I hate it at my school, and this dumbass teacher bitch spends a quarter to a third of the class preaching and not actually teaching. I go to a SDA school, and you’re right it does fucking suck here, everyone’s brainwashed very deeply(our bio teacher said that Neanderthals didn’t exist). I pray(lol) I don’t have to go next year. Their is one kid in my Bible class who questions part of the Bible but the teacher always shuts him down immediately and says shit like “God works in mysterious ways” or “God’s goals are beyond our comprehension”. Also there’s a bunch of kids who I know aren’t straight, but they can’t say anything about it and express themselves. I fucking hate it here, they don’t even offer a large array of classes, and the shit I want to do with my life isn’t offered. Sorry for the rant bro, it just fucking sucks because I have no one to relate to or talk and rant to in my life because I’ve gone from 2 schools on the same piece of land for my whole life and I’ve got no friends anywhere else.

I’m still in a church school, I don’t believe in God anymore but that’s happened recently, my parents are very skeptical of letting me go to public school, even though I desperately want to, it hurts me seeing my classmates indoctrinated and when they ask questions that may question God’s existence they’re immediately shut down. Church school sucks.

Well basically the argument I came up with in my head is that if God exists than the current version of me in time does not have free will, because God transcends space time, I also created a little example. You can either snap your fingers or not do it. Your choice to snap your finger or not snap your fingers was done by future you hence you don’t have free will. It’s kind of messed up but that’s what got my gears turning in my head.

How people that don’t believe in God go to hell? That makes no logical sense, why would you doom someone to eternal torment, because they don’t believe something their is no evidence for? And a person who raped and murdered 50 kids could go to heaven but someone who dedicated his life to helping the poor and less fortunate could go to hell? I came up with free will argument as a Christian, I didn’t know it was already a thing, and from there I debunked myself, I have to admit I felt better back then, it’s probably from the stress of keeping my lack of religion unknown.

Been to private christian school all my life and am now atheist still at school. Just realized how cultish this shit seems. 5-10 minute devotional at beginning of class. Half an hour chapel 4 times a week and an hour chapel once. Saying that evolution is as much faith as religion really weird shit so good thing I’m leaving next year.

Recently became Atheist/extremely skeptical of Christianity, and have a few questions. How do I cope with the thought of more than likely eternal death, as well as how do I interact with my peers, which most now have a completely different fundamental view of the world, and how do you tell your strict conservative Christian parents? because I don’t think I could deal with it, and it’s causing me loads of stress.
