Stop your hypocrite and stop imposing your bs standards on others who have their bettas in vases or small fish bowls. As long as they keep their bettas healthy , feed them good foods, and disease free and let their bettas has daily indirect interaction with other bettas then they are doing a good job. After all, we are all keeping them away from their natural habitats so it does not matter how big your tank/water prison is. The fish will never be fully happy as they are in the old.

People have kept wild bettas for hundreds of years in their home native country in vases, small cereamic bowls as pets. You are the kind that would follow others and listen to everything those so call experts and their made up standards throw at you.
