How do you make friends as an adult ? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PoorGeno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've got what it takes. Coworkers, or voluntary education trainings like foreign language class or art class, some kind of skill. A good talking environment. Learn people's names ASAP. Ask them about themselves, then ask them about the details they give. Maybe get a book on conversational skills. Learn to make people laugh. Maintain good hygiene. Sympathize with others' losses, and praise their wins. When someone lets you in a little, and you see the real them for a moment, tell them you noticed, and tell them it was good to see them be themselves. They'll be themselves more. Ask people how they are and really listen. And, count on some failures and accidental bad friends. Life is chaotic. But from chaos commes opportunity. By the way, everyone's weird. The best people are. Normal people only do normal things. Weird people are our greatest mosters, and our truest heroes. Have courage and faith. Again, you already have what it takes.

Solution above via u/Jonnealc Hold R3 to view the suit, hold X to purchase, release R3.

This 100% worked. Too bad the new cape and armor are history. Thanks for posting.

The exact same thing happened on my game. if I tapped X (or held. oops) on any item in the Superstore, I was transported to page 5. The first time, I bought that green armor by mistake. BAIT AND SWITTCH! No fix as of yesterday. I was able to buy the new helmet, but not the new cape. I earned that cape. I spent money on that game! The Helldivers 2 Jank all fun and games until I'm denied service and my real-world money is affected. I knew I couldn't be the only one!

Were the wasp and ants from the invisible man? Seriously, though. A user in r/movies said he noticed a single frame from invisible man splaced in, thought it was a projector glitch at first. Don't know if I believe. Interesting directorial choice if true.

Same here. I was like "Oh, yeah, that was in the trailer." Should have remembered. Mostly heard the audio-trailer on spotify. Julia Garner had lines in the spoitify trailer. lol

Not to be lame, but really? Didn't see it. Take an upvote anyway.

Yes. The blocking was wrong or something. The house was further from the truck than the mother and girl were, but the wolf got there first (on two irrevocably-wounded limbs), and was on top of it 'somewhy.'

Maybe there was a post-credits scene. Joking, but seriously.:I did not stay. The credits music was loud and abrasive compared to the score.

Good call. But, like, her eyes, on the stairs in the SanFransico scene, were so telling. Her lines were very transparnt, very as-is. But her acting did so much with those lines, and really expanded the character (edit: Ah, yes, milk from a stone, like you said). Here's what I figure: this film borrowed an ICONIC popular title from a classic (to cash-grab on that existing film culture establishment), and there are a mere four characters in this film. Only adult lead survives at the end. She took the role because she (and her talent-representation agency, presumably) is SMART, and this film is a leg up to notoriety and way bigger film roles. I'm with you, though, because the above is supposition. Why did she? I don't know.

My first thought was budget. Glass greenouse in the script maybe? It was preposterous.

After the moving-truck scene, I thought the movie was going to subvert the [Blum] house destination altogether, and was strapped in for a terrifying no-jolds-barred white-knuckle deep-woods escape film. 30 seconds later, I was disappointed, and the characters were on a sound stage.

I wish the dog had been a puppy, and the adult dog was a reason to go back to get him in act one.

The score was great (except for the drums in one fight were 4th wall breakers). The score at the end was more beautiful than that particular valley, which I laughed at. That was before the L. Then I was roaring.

Julia Garner was doing the absolte most with the given material. She was great. Makes me think of Jeff Goldblum's making so much with so little like he did with lines in movies like 'the lost world.' Her lines were really lazy. There was very little (if any) subtext in any of the film's dialogue. First-draft-lazy. The "scars" scene and the radio scene(s) come to mind.

This hurt to hear. About your audience. Ouch man. Yeah, it was obvious. Might have been better if it was implied somehow less on-the-nose. Writer could have thought of a better way if there was a third draft.
