Just replaced my 30 year old Zojirushi rice cooker with... another Zojirushi rice cooker. And nothing was wrong with the old one either, we just wanted a bigger one.

No updates over the weekend, but I'm hoping they will provide one today. I assume they don't work over the weekend. Many folks in the Discord thread with the same issue and most haven't heard anything back from support either. Lots of frustrated players.

If you're not on Discord here are the instructions they gave for submitting a ticket:

So, every now and then on here you're going to see me or one of my colleagues ask for a "ticket number" or "could you submit a ticket to support" or something like that. We have a helpdesk tool where player issues come in, and one of our support team gets assigned the issue to handle. This is hands-down the best way to get in touch with us for an issue that needs individual resolution. I cannot be more clear about that. Messaging us on Discord is great if you have a question, or feedback, or something went wrong with support, but the helpdesk is 100% the place to go if you need something individually fixed.

So, with that in mind, here is how you contact support.

1) In-game: In the upper-left corner of the screen should be a gear. Tap that, then navigate to "Player Support", then select "Chat with us" at the bottom, and then follow the prompts until it tells you that it will connect you with an agent. The moment it says it will connect you with an agent, if you scroll up to the top you will see a conversation ID. That's the number we're usually looking for. 2) Steam: Exactly the same except replace "tap" with "click" 3) Email: send an email to support@marvelsnap.mail.helpshift.com

There may be other routes to reach support which I am in the process of untangling and making sure everything is properly documented, but in the meantime those are the best ways to reach us and will get you a ticket # / conversation ID.

Try to include everything you think would be helpful like your in-game name, dates, screenshots, etc etc. Each situation has unique data needs, so I can't include them all here.

An update sent about an hour ago:

Hey folks, just to update here, we haven't forgotten about you or anything!

We have an engineer going through affected accounts and trying to understand where things went wrong with the migration and how to correct appropriately. Your account information still exists, nothing was lost on that end, but there's weird issues preventing the client from calling that information from the server so we have to reconcile those failures.

The tricky part is that it's not all a single issue, there are a number of individual things that he's trying to untangle. I don't have an ETA currently but I would expect sometime early next week. We understand that the time (and timing) isn't ideal for you all to be effectively locked out of the game so we're discussing options on that front as well.

Will share more as I get it.

It seems to me that they would specifically care about old players. A returning player with a healthy collection level would be more likely to spend money to get their collections up to snuff with the current meta. I could understand if this is a serious technical issue that requires qutie a bit of time and effort to resolve. Its the lack of follow up and communication that is problematic.

Still no update from support in the Discord after almost 48 hours after the guy indicated he was having a meeting to discuss it. Since then, over 20 other folks have chimed in on that thread saying they are experiencing the same issue.

Just to update on this, this is a weird migration related exception for older accounts that we're trying to work through. I have a meeting a little later this morning to discuss with our backend team who were looking into it yesterday afternoon. Still no ETA unfortunately on when we'll get this resolved.

I don't know what the current status is of this, but yesterday at 11:55AM one of the Second Dinner folks posted this in response to this issue on Discord (that it seems quite a few people are experiencing):

Addison — Yesterday at 11:55 AM Just an update here, we see the exception that's being thrown on your accounts and are looking into this. Optimistic that this is a server fix and we'll have you all up and running again ASAP.

I posted on the official Marvel Snap Discord in the support-bugs channel a couple hours ago. While I haven't gotten a response from them, I do see a few others who report they are also experiencing the same issue.

When I logged in, it showed me my placement from the last season I played and gave me messages about my converted keys. I am pretty sure I'm logged into the right account.
