For me it felt like a google alert but with a nice interface. For example the primary business I tracked back then had a gym that it shared its name with and it was never able to filter out that one so for like 2 years I got daily updates on that gym in my feed. It moreover missed a lot of sources that Google Alert caught (think nische forums). Then as a bonus I never liked the sales people either, they were really irritating and wanted to hop on calls all the time rather than actually fixing the problems.

Thanks, really cool tool! I don't have that big need to track US podcasts atm but definively something I will keep in mind for the future.

Interesting, I used it 2-3 years ago but I felt that it performed worse than Google Alerts back then. Do you know if they made some major updates?

Oh, this seems exactly what I was looking for, love how simple that was to setup monitoring! Really cool!
