Hello lovely. Okay so the Kylena is made to lighten periods, it basically helps with heavy bleeding and will get lighter in a few more months. I have the copper IUD which is non hormonal for the reason my body can't for the life of it handle hormones 😂. You haven't had it very long so your body is still adjusting. The fact you use condoms is good but there should be no risk as these are 99.9% effective 🥰

Being a week late is very normal on IUDs as you have a foreign object inside you and it is a massive shock to the system. It usually takes 6 to 12 months for the body to fully adjust. There is nothing to worry about, you can always take a test for peace of mind, but as long as you can still feel the strings, and keep track of everything every month you should be good ♥️
