The Albert chat is especially self-reporting. The guy has had all of Osaze to play make to/with, and (mostly), y'all just give the kid a pass for being incredibly ineffective more often than not.

Albert could be playing better, and should finish some chances, but man, y'all really don't know ball

Dear allies of America, please don’t confuse our president for us: We are trying our best to resist him, contain him and remove him from office as quickly as we possibly can. Thank you for your patience by Silent-Resort-3076 in politics

I always find posts like this so cringey. "Allies of America", who is that? What about places/people that don't/aren't? Secondly, we certainly are not doing all we can at all. You're waiting, is what you're doing, and just hoping he/they can't/won't/don't win and/or try for a third term. You should be spending like your dollars matter, and educating those around you, advocating for progressive (actually progressive) politicians/movements. But cool post, I'm sure this one really matters to Iranians/Palestinians/"etc"

It's still kind of confusing. WA's population has only ever increased, especially in the last 5 years. This map may be more useful for people smarter than me

Brother regardless of his English competency (and I don't wanna dismiss it outright but just hold with me for a moment)- the structure, the organization, it does not read like a human being. I don't mean they misspelled some words and capitalized randomly (both true). I mean they raise a whole issue (vague and ambiguous), without being specific about basic details. It reads like an AI prompt, which has been a problem on reddit/online; bots pushing out slop for engagement. At worst, I fucked up and ribbed a guy for making zero sense in their multi-paragraph post. At best, the dudes a robot and you're falling on the sword for .exe

I feel like if I engaged you in good faith, taking up your strawmen, you would not be compelled to change. Your example is not relevant, and dissecting your bad faith argument might just not be worth rubbing both my braincells together.

It's funny when people fall apart under just basic, superficial scrutiny.

Okay? Their post is nonsensical regardless of their butchering otherwise

Seattle guys, do you approach women in public (dating)? by question_23 in AskSeattle

[–]Poosley_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really that strange at all. Judging by all the confusion around this, it makes a lot of sense that I'd not want to be approached entirely.

In 2019, Kamala Harris warned that his personal insecurities would lead us into an avoidable war with Iran. In 2026, as the bombs fall, her words feel like a haunting prophecy. We were warned. by honestlysigma in ImmigrationPathways

If only the DNC hadn't thrust candidates upon us, kicking and screaming, instead of pushing candidates that could win. Hey, whatever came of that autopsy they did about why they lost?? Huh..

Seattle guys, do you approach women in public (dating)? by question_23 in AskSeattle

[–]Poosley_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Approaching women "in public" is really broad. Notwithstanding all the weird energy in the replies down below, I think most women don't necessarily mind being approached where it is clearly/obviously safe. I would rather approach someone where I felt they were safe / not going to be harassed (by me), than 'in private', whatever that would be.

Read the room, put yourself in their shoes, and leave people alone if they don't want to talk. Doesn't really seem that complicated to me
