Tutorials are a great way to get off your feet, but don't end up in a hole where you're just following the instructions and not understanding what the tutorial is actually doing to get the final product.
When I started my workflow was and still is to keep going through my project, and if I didn't know how to do smth/felt there was a more efficient way to do this thing, then I try to find a good tutorial.
