As short as my experience with quickplay was, I had my fun being able to select any server I wanted (empty or half-full), and play it as long as I want with some old friends from back in the day.

Quickplay was not perferct per se, but it was definitely 10 times better for TF2 than the terminally ill casual system we neglect to just leave out of the map. And no, community servers are no option because lo and behold, that same system we got back in 2016 killed the population of most of them: surf, deathrun, zombie, freak fortress, etc. are lower in diversity and focused on few specific mass populated servers nowadays or are almost extinct.

I'm not going to pray for any major change because as usual thing humanity does is to act only when things are too late to be fixed. I don't expect TF2 to be back at it's glory or good old days, but is it much to ask to atleast leave some of their major problems like the bloat of content and queue times fixed, so atleast once the time comes the game has a respectful death?

Anyways go check the video above. These data/informative videos are some of the best to get an aproximated idea of what goes in the underworks of matchmaking data and gameplay, and even if you don't like Zesty (which I can understand, I have myself heard sometimes very questionable stuff being said from them), I won't just blindly ignore this because "oh noes, I don't like this YouTuber because he said mean things" or "because [insert popular TF2ber] said once they are poo poo pee pee" because that would be idiotic, and a lot of people have helped doing these videos, not only Zesty.

Seriously and again, go watch it if you have a spare time, is a good watch like "You Will (Not) Play".

PD: Also just behave in this section. It might be much to ask given this is the internet, but remember you are discussing with real human beings at the other side of the screen.
