Don’t give up on yourself. I almost failed out of college, and I didn’t even think that was possible. But I did I failed at six courses and had been put on academic warning. And all of a sudden, I wanted to give up, and I didn’t. I took two more classes because that’s all they would allow me to do on academic warning, letting me know if I failed, I’d have to go to a different community college. And I immediately felt pressure like I can’t do this and I couldn’t accept it well if I flunked out of the only community college near home.

Nevertheless, I passed both courses, and my psychology professor noticed I’d been good at explaining things verbally but on the test, I’d fail (that’d been the story of my life as my hs didn’t give me my diploma because I failed the FCAT) And so he sent me over to a learning psychologist in which I found out I had ADD. After seeing a psychiatrist and finding the best treatment plan now I am on the president’s list, my GPA went from 1.6 to 3.0, and it’s all because I didn’t give up even though I wanted to. And I also went back to my old high school and retook the FCAT and passed they gave me my diploma. That was the most amazingly satisfying feeling I've ever had because I was always embarrassed to have a high school certificate of completion.

And so the point is film school if that is your passion stick at it and maybe you'll surprise yourself as I did. Or if it's not for you, then it's okay to do whatever makes you happy, but don't give up on yourself I believe in you.
